I would rather say that not Natal Mars would have to aspect on the

transiting Moon, but when Mars in transit aspects on the transiting Moon,

then the menses can occur. I have checked when the menses occurred in case

of my wife for the last couple of years, and hardly in any case was it the

Natal Mars that aspected on the Moon. Even in some cases the transiting

Mars didn't aspect on the Moon, but then some planets which are located in

MArs's sign of Scorpio, (Sun and Mercury in my wife's chart) were

aspecting.

 

ANother thing, I live in a community of devotees were it commonly happens

that several pujari's at the same time have their menses, so it would be

more likely that it is transiting MArs instead of natal Mars.

 

A rule I found in Varahamihira's Brhat Jataka says: for conception Mars

has to aspect on Moon in transit while Moon is not in her upachaya houses

(from her natal Moon), and Jupiter should aspect on the Moon while Moon is

in the upachaya houses from the man's natal Moon.

 

The last however was not correct in a conception chart I have, where Moon

was in the 4th from his natal Moon.

Visti: I had to take a good long thought on this one. I take my statement

back on Mars' natal aspect, as this doesn't make sense. It should be the

transiting planet which aspects. But, which planet should aspect which i'm not

sure.. did you check Kujaamsa? I doubt its TR-Mars and TR-Moon aspecting each

other, as this would enable us to time the menses of all women irrespective of

their birthchart.

Visti: Its common that women that live closely around each other, tend to

have menses at the same time, but otherwise they may not.

natal Moon), and Jupiter should aspect on the Moon while Moon isin the upachaya

houses from the man's natal Moon.

Visti: Nono, the transit Moon must be in Upachaya to Mothers lagna. Jupiters

aspect indicates mating with the husband. The Transit Moon will be in Kendra to

the Birth Jataka.

Visti: Is this the time of sexual interaction(adhana) or time when the sperm

fertilized the egg? If the former, then gimme the natal chart and i will try

guessing the Adhana.
