Duration of RASHI for different latitude

If you know excel,you may take help of event-dasha-transit program.

You can insert a new sheet and enter date and time in column A.

In column B, you can write formula for Lagn.you can than write

different times in different rows may be in increments of a few

minutes

and check the lagn against them. You can take help(even copy) from

ephemeris

sheet to see how you can give time increments. With this,you can also

find

duration of rashi with little trial.You will just need to subtract

time

at start and end of rashi.This duration will remain same for all

places

having same latitude.Please note that the change in lagn is non-

linear.

so even if you know the duration of rasi,you will only get

approximate time.

 

BTW, Do you know about any on line resources/discussion list on KP?

loaded updated software.It also includes Mool dasha and various

strengths.

 

I am not a programmer.I learned Excel from various excel sheets

posted by

Visti.You can find all of them in Files section of this list.Ramesh

F. Gangaramani, you can download it from there.I also used Sanjay

Prabhakaran's vdasa.zip file for programming sarvatobhadra chakra.It

uses several advanced

techniques without macro.I also refered some sheets on satva-list for

macro programing using swiss-ephemeris.

 

You can use Swiss Emphmeris without any permission provided that you

make free-code/open-source freeware.If you want to charge,you have to

buy.Even for freeware without source code you need to buy it!You may

contact directly

wonderful. Are you a programmer? and you yourself built those

formulae. Would you please tell us how did you get copy write

permission from "Swiss Emphmeris" to use their programme as

freeware/shareware? So that other interested can also benefited.

 

Your Event-Dasha-Transit is not doubt a unique work, but there is a

formula mistake in 7th Sheet named "Varg" coloum F350 to F363 where

the corresponding cell for debilitaion of Mangl is written

incorecctly. or might be possible I could not take in the point

correctly.
