Guest guest
Sorry for specifically naming some Gurus, but I really feel that some kind of response is necessary and I am really wondering why no one is bringing this up. Perhaps there is an earlier message that clarifies this concept - please point me to it, if so. Many of you must have noticed that these days, Saturn is in Gemini, Jupiter in Cancer, Mercury and Mars in Virgo, Venus and Sun in Libra, and the Rahu-Ketu axis enclosing all these planets from Taurus- Scorpio. So all the while when Moon moves from Gemini to Libra (both inclusive), we have a clear Kala Amrita Yoga. In fact right from June or so (Sun entering Gemini), we have been having KAY in probably 40% or so of all births (whenever Moon transits Gemini->Libra), assuming births are evenly distributed throughout the day. What is the impact of this? Are there so many eventual saints being born these days - 45 years from now would be 2047 which is when the yoga would break and their sainthood would be guaranteed? Also, a very interesting additional question: Many have pointed out that the Prasna chart shows one's current life Karma. There are several people, myself included, who have asked specific predictive Prasnas regarding our own lives during this period. What impact is there of a KAY in the Prasna chart, then? Does it show that we have all done badly in this life - since everyone concurs that KAY/KSY point to "terrible suffering"? Thank you, SP
Guest guest
Dear SP, It will be nice if you present yourself with a name (I trust that you have one ?) I am NOT a guru, nor do I pretend to be but as you mentioned my name I will answer you to my best ability. My own personal interest in the yogas is that my son and a couple of friends have a KSY and a few others that I know have KAY. You are correct in pointing out the BASICS for the time frame surrounding KSY/KAY. There is no way one can ignore that. However there are a number of factors you must remember: 1. The lagna will determine the houses where Rahu/Ketu will be placed - thereby 12 different karmic inlets/outlets and different rulers (the so called karmic control planets). 2. There is a constant movement within the 'captured' configuration (various lagnas most frequent) so the aspects are different - not forgetting the changing of the divisional charts configuration. 3. Briefly, the basic issue here (I believe) is the struggle between the materialistic nature of Rahu in opposition to the spiritual nature of Ketu (again depending on houe placement!). This is a fundamental structure for creating a sort of tension, urges and confusion (an emotional state that influence the mind, a mental unrest if you like) until the matureness of the yoga where the suitable path is selected (KSY - materialistic, KAY - spiritual) and the person 'stabelises'. I don't think all KAY's become 'saints' but definitely spiritual in on way or another just as the KSY's become more materialistic. In both cases there is a certain lack of the other quality. I hope that some of the gurus will either add or correct the above. * (Gurus: please correct me if I'm wrong). As to prasna, I will leave it to the 'prasna experts'. Guest guest
Hello Jay, Thanks for you reply. My name is Sundeep Prakash. I'm surprised that you aren't a Guru - The SriJagannath center web site lists you in the 2001 batch along with Visti and others. Also, there is an article I believe you wrote on KSY/KAY, on either the same web site or a related one - hence my conclusion. >From what you are saying KSY/KAY does not seem to stand out as it has been portrayed in articles - "terrible conflict" etc. The conflicts you are mentioning - materialistic vs. spiritual are there to some degree in all average people. And the paths taken by most average people are also distributed the same way - some tend to get more materialistic, some more spiritual. Where is the stand out feature? If you presented simply the description above of mental conflict, I would conclude that I had a KSY or a KAY, but my chart clearly shows that I don't. So there must be something very significantly more characteristic about KSY/KAY than an ordinary manifestation of spiritual vs. materialistic conflict resolving itself to some degree at forty something? Guest guest
Dear SP, > The conflicts you are mentioning - materialistic vs. spiritual are there to some > degree in all average people. Not to the extend that one GIVES UP one for the other! Kind regards Jay Weiss
