OM GURAVE NAMAH

Dear Subramaniam Sharma

I am glad to share with you the TZ history as requested. These two countries

Governments official bodies

do not have proper records as they were administrated by the British and in the

process of independence records have vanished ito thin air.So in turn most of

the astrological programmes in existence have errors in this

area.Goravanis,Parashara Light and others have innaccurate

data partly because most programmes access their data from ACS. Doanne Chase's

TZ records also has it wrong.

So the following is accurate data from 'reliable sources' if you like to take it

from me only for Singapore and Peninsular Malaysia.(Not for parts of Malaysia in

Borneo).

Time changes all at midnight:

Prior to Jul 01 1905--LMT

Jul 01 1905 to Dec 31 1932 -7.00hrs SST

Jan 01 1933 to Aug 31 1941 -7.20hrs

Sep 01 1941 to Feb 15 1942 -7.30hrs JVT

Feb 16 1942 to Sep 14 1945 -9.00hrs JST

Sep 15 1945 to Dec 31 1981 -7.30hrs JVT

Time change at 11.30pm on Dec 31 1981

Jan 01 1982 to TODATE -8.00hrs CCT

I hope that will be helpful to you.God Bless.

Love and Regards

RE: [vedic astrology] Re: Aquarian Asc- Rahu or Saturn?

Dear Purushothaman,

Just wanted to follow through on the 7:30 time difference suggested. Was KL on a

different time zone in 1971? I believe the current time difference (I normally

go by www.timeanddate.com who are normally correct for most places) is 8 hours?

Please advise so that I can update my knowledge.

Kind regards

ss

Dear Purushothaman,

You spoke of these time changes before, thank you so much for sharing this

information with all of us. A copy of this is going into my ephemeris right

now!
