Guest guest
Hello Visti and others, You recently elaborated on the conditions that lead to Shiva Yoga. However, in B.V.Raman's book "300 Important Combinations", Shiva Yoga is amazingly different: B.V.Raman: "Lord of 5th house in 9th, Lord of 9th in 10th and Lord of 10th in 5th" (from my memory - I dont have the book in front of me right now, but I looked it up last night). Visti: "Sun and Ketu joined or in trines to each other, and preferably in trines to Lagna or Atmakaraka. Sign placement shows in which areas or life this will manifest. This could be either in fiery, watery, airy or earthy signs. Corresponding to the Kshtriya, Brahmin, Vaishya and Sudra signs" Are not B.V.Raman's works held in a fair amount of regard by the SJ(V) C Gurus? How come there is so much difference in interpretation? I cannot read Sanskrit, so I cannot interpret from source (I dont even know which one it is actually), but I am sure the Gurus can help out a little here. Thank you, Sundeep

Guest guest
Om Jum Sah. Vyam Vyaasadevaaya Namah. Sah Jum Om Dear Sundeep, There is only a contradiction of names, which is common in Jyotish Yogas. The effects will be different offcourse. The Yoga of Sun+Ketu is the union of Shiva and Ganesh, where Shiva gives the native a new head. Also this yoga is used to time when we become fathers.
