I find that you have a very strong Chart for the following reasons. Your Saturn and Jupiter are exalted in Navamsha and therefore capable of giving exaltation results.Mars is also in exaltation in natal chart.Such a chart indicates an individual who rises much above the state he was in at the time of his birth, both financially and status wise. The only negative factors are a debilitated moon in Natal chart and Venus too. However the venus being Vargottam looses his bad efects to some extent. You have a Panch Mahapurusha yoga caused by Mars in exaltation in Ascendant(also a Kendra). You may have ups and downs in your earning and may be also change your profession/ business often.You must have had much advancement in carear after your marriage.You could be good at trade and also be benefitted through Govt. contracts or be appointed in Government job.You are also likely to do very well in Legal profession. I thought you may help with better understanding as I am reading your postings. I have a Lagna lord Saturn(debilitated) in Rasi and exalted in Navamsa which qualifies for Neecha Bhanga Raja yoga. What if the Saturn is Retrograde. I read that Exalted planet if retrograde does not give its effects. I will be shortly starting my Saturn Dasa and hence my curiosity. Guest guest Posted November 30, 2002 Report Share Posted November 30, 2002 Dear Saikumar, You have asked a very relevant question.I have been reading a lot of postings on the list about retrograde planets.All of them seem to give negative value to retrograde planets. Phaladeepika of Mantrashewar mentions that a Planet with full rays(one which is not combust because of proximity with Sun) gives the results identical with an Exalted planet.In case of Saturn he is said to be Bali in all placements when Retrograde. In your case saturn is retrograde in Kendra and Neecha. Even if we discount his being exalted in Navamsha(which we should not) . It is said that Saturn retrograde and neecha in a Kendra causes a Rajayoga.Add to this the fact that he is Lord of Ascendant. teh rest should be apparent. The only bad thing about Saturn in 4th house is he sometimes gives bad finances in old age but in your case he recieves aspect of Jupiter from 11th house and so there should not be any problem.However as a prudent precaution you should start putting some amount aside and invest it so that you alone may not withdraw it. By the way did you get some elevation in you Job/ profesion when saturn was retrograde in Aries a few years back? You have an above average horoscope only try to control your mood swings,if I may say so.
