Guest guest
Namaste friends, > Hello,> Do you know if it might be an astrological relation with the chart of> India?> The tragedy occured on December 3rd, 1984 (hour unknown)> The birthchart of India I don't know. There are dates for the> Independence and for the Constitution, but I don't know which is the> "real" birthdate for India. I am quoting a couple of paragraphs from my book at the end of this post on what is the right chart of India. The birthdata is: August 15, 1947Time: 0:00:01Time Zone: 5:30:00 (East of GMT)Longitude: 77 E 13' 00"Latitude: 28 N 40' 00" Make the Tithi Pravesha chart (annual soli-lunar return chart) of 1984-85. Some information and examples of this approach can be found in the archives of this list as well as the May, June and July issues of "Jyotish Digest" magazine from Sri Jagannath Centre. The annual chart data is: July 26, 1984Time: 22:18:29Time Zone: 5:30:00 (East of GMT)Longitude: 77 E 13' 00"Latitude: 28 N 40' 00" In the natal chart, Sun owns mrityu pada (A8). In the annual chart, Sun is the lord of the 6th house of accidents. Kali sahamam (significant point in the zodiac for strife) is in Cp, aspected by Sun. Planets occupying 7th or a trine from A8 can cause bad events. In this annual chart, Sun is in 7th from A8. In the D-6 of the annual chart, Sun occupies lagna. In the D-30 of the annual chart, Sun and nodes occupy lagna. Overall, Sun shows some accidents and suffering. Being in the 8th house in D-11 (annual), he shows deaths too. Tithi Ashtottari (TA) dasa should be used with Tithi Pravesha (TP) chart. If you compute it, you will find that Sun dasa ran during Nov 21-Dec 12, 1984. That is when the tragedy took place. Of course, you could instead use the solar return chart (Tajika) and Patyayini dasa with it. Then you will see that Jupiter dasa gave the result. In the annual solar return chart, Jupiter is the lord of the 6th house of accidents and occupies a trine from A8, close to kali sahamam. May Jupiter's light shine on us,Narasimha---------------------- >From "Vedic Astrology: An Integrated Approach" by P.V.R. Narasimha Rao, Sagar Publications, 2001 Copyrights reserved 35.3 Using Birthcharts When a new leader takes command of a nation, it signals a new beginning for the nation and hence the chart cast for the moment of swearing-in is important. However, the beginning of a new order is more important than the beginning of a new command. When a nation re-organizes itself based on new philosophies and thought, it signals the beginning of a new order. Chart cast for the beginning of a new order is more important than a swearing-in chart. For example, the nation of India existed for more than 5,000 years. However, it took a new identity when it won independence on 15th August 1947. The independence chart of India shows the beginning of a new order in India. Though several princely states joined India after her independence, there was no major change in the identity of India. When India formed its constitution and declared itself a Sovereign Replublic on 26th January 1950, its identity was only consolidated and not changed. So the independence chart (15th August 1947, midnight, Delhi) is the birthchart of India and it is the most important one for predicting India’s fortune.
