Guest guest
I remember reading somewhere in Sri SRath's lectures that Saturn as a YogaKarak (Libra/Taurus) and posited in the 8th house constitues VRY. Please comment on this. Any feedback is appreciated. What happens if Saturn is Retrograde in addition.
Guest guest
Well Retrograde planets behave as exhalted planets, provided theu are not in their sign of exaltation. In general they make the person very ambitious(materialism wise or spriptaulism wise depening upon placement, nature etc)., However they result in denial of fruits or rather say the expectations are very high and the achievements do not satisfy the person concerned. Also VRY is formed when lords of 6th/8th/12th exchange houses in any combination like 6th lord in 8th and vice versa. Also I think 6th/8th/12th Lords in any dusthsthana(6th/8th/12th) are considered as similar to VRY, provided the lords are not in their own houses. Now Saturn in 8th house for Libra is a VRY or not, that's hard to say from these rules. However Saturn being a natural malefic in 8th house , could be considered a good yoga since malefics are good in dusthasthanas. So may be its a type of VRY by this angle. hope it helps.
