The Hyderabad Varga workshop (Dec 2-10, 2002) is ample testimony to

the success of SJC's mission. The coming together of jyotish Gurus

and students in an interactive live forum demonstrated the near-

revival of Gurukul in this Kali-Yug. Members from all regions

participated. A lot was taught and learnt. The effectiveness of

personal learning was fully evident and truly felt here.

 

With the seed of thought provided by Sri Jagannatha, guided and

encouraged by our Guru Pt Sanjay Rath, the Chennai chapter of SJC is

to be established.

 

Essentially a study circle, the Chennai chapter will endeavour to

bring together SJC members in Chennai and neighbourhood, to spread

and share the knowledge taught in the parampara and to promote a

better understanding of this sacred knowledge.

 

SJC Study Circles are informal gatherings of like-minded vedic

astrologers and SJC members, to consult or discuss something together

and compare ideas and opinions. Members in Chennai and neighbourhood

are most welcome to join and support in building the Chennai chapter

of SJC. Please contact me over phone after which details of meetings

can be worked out.

 

I close this message with a prayer today to Sri Jagannatha, Guru Sri

Dakshinamurthy to remove the darkness and shower us with the light of

jyotish knowledge, the Maharishis who blessed us with their writings,

Pt Sanjay Rath for offering this world such valuable traditional

knowledge and Gurus of this parampara with a request to guide us

further.
