There is only one religion, the religion of Love; There is only one language,

the language of the Heart; There is only one caste, the caste of Humanity;

There is only one law, the law of Karma; There is only one God, He is

Omnipresent,Omniscient ,Omnipotent & all Pervesive

Dear Siva:

All theories fail in front of the great mantras in the Rig Veda. For example, a

lady who does not understand any of the eastern languages, who was a christian

and had no knowledge of hinduism, who never bothered about spirituality, was

made to hear constant chanting of the mrityunjaya mantra when she was in bed.

The words etc were totally meaningless for her. She recovered even after all

doctors had declared her terminally ill with cancer, lived for 2 years before

finally saying goodbye..

So, what theory works?

Many hindu's go to the church at Goa and light candles for Mother Mary. Any idea

what is happening out here, what is working? Does God have a religion?

Best regards,

Sanjay Rath

vedic astrologySubject: [vedic astrology] Re: Upayas for

planetsI would like to add that while giving karmic explanation for the effects

faced by the native (if he/she is unaware of eastern concept of Karma), to use

the scriptures they are familiar with. For examples, Bible captures the whole

essense of Karma with this simple statement:::From The Bible, Galatians vi.

'Whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap.'::Readers might want to

refer to The Holy Science by Swami Yukteshwar Giri (the yogi that gave

Yukteshwar ayanamsa) which gives many such paralles between Biblical thoughts

and hindu scriptures. The natives will be more receptive to what they are

hearing if they hear it in a context known to them. Probably thats what

Maharishi Parasara said when he suggested people use jyotish (with its

remedies) as per the context, country and age.The vedas also declare "Ekam sat

vipraha bahudha vadanti" (Truth is one, wise call it in many names). A mantra

with similar phonetics and meaning can be said in any language and any God can

be used for a remedy as long as the native has faith in that God / angel and

there is an appropriate mythology/purana behind it, that creates an

subconscious effect when that God is worshipped.Whatever I said is based on my

limited understanding. I am waiting for gurus like PVRji or Sanjayji to clarify

things for better.-Siva.vedic astrology, "schinnas
