Guest guest
Om Sri Rama Jai Jai Rama, Namaste, re: speed of planets and thier order. I see Saturn ( slowest) to Moon ( fastest) as the order, but do not undersand how Sun is is positioned 4th ( either slowest or fastest). When we measure fast or slow, it's the time taken for a graha to make one complete revolution ( 360 degree) around a body. Sani takes 29.5 years around the sun, yet we measure Chandra taking 27.3 days to complete a cycle aound the earth. NOt the same metric, Yet being geocentric this difference can be rationlized. YET, Surya takes 25 (earth) days to complete one revolution around its axis, making it faster then the moon. We surely do not want to measure the time Surya ( and the solar system) takes to go it's center - in this case would be the galaxy, taking ~ 250 million years if my memory serves me correctly. So, how do we reconcile this? Could it be: A. Since Surya has perfect satvic motion, it is positioned in the middle ( balanced; not fastest, not the slowest, just right!) in the order Sani,Jupiter, Mars, SUN, Venus, Mercury, Moon. B. Other ideas and knowledge on this? ________________? Please assist with this fundamental question that helps comprehend order, Hora, etc.
