Dear friends,

After respected Shri K.N.Rao ji, Editor "Journal of Astrology" asked

for the birth details of Steve Waugh, the captain of Australian

Cricket test team, on 3rd January 2003 in "jyotish-list", there has

been interesting astrological discussions going on. Ron Gaunt,

quoting from very authentic sources, provided the birth-details,

according to which, Waugh was born on 2nd June 1965 (Wednesday) at

8.14 pm (TZ 10) at Sydney.

No doubt, the 3rd January 2003 was the day of glory for Steve Waugh.

Australian skipper became the third batsman to surpass 10,000 Test

runs and then equalled Don Bradman's record. In the leadup to the

match against England, Steve had said that he would need a career

defining moment to extend his tenure in test arena. In his record-

equalling 156th Test, he blazed 18 boundaries, erasing the 69 runs he

needed to reach the five figure mark and then equalled Bradman's

Australian record of 29 Test centuries.

Vjyotish has provided astrological turning point in one's life very

successfully many times in the past. I thought to test Steve Waugh's

birth-data also on Vjyotish. I processed Waugh's data from 1st July

2002 to 30th June 2003 (Six months past and six months future). Here

are the results obtained from Vjyotish:

His "Index of aggregate astrological net effect" could be

categorized as `Good' on following dates (when index values remained

between +175 and +325). The minimum and maximum theoretically

possible astrological values for this index are -500 and +500

respectively.

Jul 2002: 30

Aug 2002: 7, 19, 29, 30

Oct 2002: 20

Nov 2002: 6, 7, 8, 9, 28, 29, 30

Dec 2002: 1, 2, 3, 4, 6, 14, 15, 16, 17

Jan 2003: 2

Apr 2003: 22, 25, 29

May 2003: 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 26, 29

This index remained in the category of `Poor' (when index values

remained between -325 and -175) on following dates:

Jul 2002: 6, 7

Jan 2003: 15

The "Index of aggregate astrological net effect" represents the

cumulative 'net astrological effect' (algebraic sum of positive and

negative effects) of 9 planets, 12 houses, House Lords, Significators

& Dasa lords -for any given day - computed on the basis of Vedic

astrological principles for the given chart. It captures the bullish

and bearish periods of one's life and clearly identifies all the

different turning points.

As you can see in the above table, Waugh was having "Good"

astrological period running since November 2002 and till January 2,

2003. Now, such period will re-occur to him from the last week of

April 2003 upto the end of May 2003.

In fact, his "Vjyotish index of professional career and status" shows

almost the same trend. Interestingly, his index of "Possibilities of

festivities and decoration" suddenly came into positive zone for five

days only – from 31st December 2002 to 4th January 2003 amongst a

long patch of negative Vjyotish values. His index of popularity made

a top on 2nd January. The index of "Honour, name & fame" also made a

top on 2nd January 2003.

However, there is one strange thing to take note of. The Vjyotish

values for all these indexes were much impressive in December 2002. I

do not follow cricket at all. All the introductory information

written above about Waugh has been taken from recent newspapers. I

feel that there must be some very positive happenings to Waugh during

the month of December 2002 also. Can any list-member, who follows

cricket, write about December happenings to Waugh?

If you wish to analyze Waugh's chart through Vjyotish, you may

download a full working program from the following location:

http://www.howisyourdaytoday.com/DwnlodVJ.htm

The program will be downloaded with a sample person's data files. To

download Steve Waugh's data files, download a very small sized self-

extracting application "S0555.exe" also from the following location:

http://www.howisyourdaytoday.com/custdata/S0555.exe

After downloading, run this application (S0555.exe) once to install

Waugh's data files in the program folder.

The "pcode" of Steve Waugh is "S0555" (S zero 555).

Run "vjyotish.exe" located in your C:\Vjyotish\ folder (i.e.

C:\Vjyotish\Vjyotish.exe). In the opening screen, Vjyotish will ask

you the "pcode". Fill the above written code "S0555" and just follow

the simple menu and instructions appearing on your screen.

Note: If program gives I/O error, insert any CD in your CD-drive and

then run Vjyotish.exe again. It should run properly thereafter.

Warm regards,

A note for those, who might not be aware about the concept of

Vjyotish:

'Vjyotish' is a dynamic model for predictions, based on Vedic

Astrology principles. The innovative is the 'concept' and 'method' of

drawing a net astrological conclusion in precise numerical terms,

called as 'net astrological effect', by mathematically quantifying

various key astrological parameters. The method is unique in that it

quantifies the benefic and malefic influences of each planet in

precise unambiguous figures. It is also unique in that it combines

the effects of different planets and houses and can integrate the

effects of various planets with respect to each other.

The program integrates natal promises of various planets in a

horoscope with their transit status in a very simple and elegant

manner. The innovation is in the 'way', in which several established

Vedic astrology principles are simultaneously integrated to gauge the

exact benefic and malefic effects of each planet in natal horoscope

as well as in their daily transit. The program can analyze a day with

reference to each house of a person's horoscope individually.
