Dear Gauranga,

This has simply GOT to stop. (Narasimha, my apologies for replying to him). You

were not even there...PLEASE DO NOT MISREPRESENT, FOR HEAVEN'S SAKE. Swee will

never misrepresent I know that, so it must be you. Swee has been donating the

money that she has been making with the sales of her stones at the Hyderabad

conference to SJC. SJC has just opened an account in New Delhi. Sanjay does not

handle that account at all...I do. Hence Swee was handing over all SJC donations

to me. (You want bank details? Account number?). Why don't you come down to

Delhi and handle all this huge administration work yourself? It will leave me

free to pursue my jyotish studies which I have been neglecting of late. Swee at

the same time gave Rs. 5000/ as dakshina for Sanjay. I told her to hand it over

to Sanjay herself. I have never seen Sanjay accept dakshina from anyone, and if

he does, he usually asks them to donate it to SJC. BUT, in Swee's case he did

take the dakshina. I had laughed and joked that it took care of his plane

ticket to Bhubaneswar. His ticket was ALREADY bought. He was cribbing that it

made a hole in his pocket. My comment implied that God took care of the hole in

his pocket!! I don't even believe that I am writing all this on the list. Kali

yuga...

Sanjay handed me the money at the moment to keep it in my handbag....as usually

in India, men don't carry hand bags or purses! I even carried Sarajit's,

Visti's, Shiv's and Sanjay's money at Tirupati as they wanted to move around

freely and go for their mundan etc. and since their luggage were not locked. In

India, its a common thing, that the woman's handbag becomes a common property,

and the woman a natural guardian.

Please note, that money to SJC and dakshina to Sanjay is a separate matter. I am

not bothered with what dakshina anyone gives or does not give to Sanjay. That's

not my problem. I am only bothered with SJC money. The two are separate. In the

case of your shishyas, for the the immediate purpose, because of logistic

reasons, Sanjay had suggested that his dakshinas be routed through the SJC

account. I have explained all this to you...twice. Still you choose to create a

controversy. If you have a problem, simply wait till he returns from Orissa, and

hand his stuff directly to him at his address or to his bank account. What's the

big deal about this?

Gurus please note that I am copying this mail to the Vyasa list. This kind of

irresponsible behaviour must stop.

I'm sorry to disturb you agian with this issue which got into the lists out of

my will as I have stated earlier. However the staements made need some

clarification and some of it has already come, the rest is yet to come. Sanjay

mentioned the following in his answer to me:

Another thing - I have been observinghow you are directing your shisya to send

money to me as Dakshina, and notto SJC/Sarbani. Be sure that I will not accept

this from everyone. In onecase of Swee Chan I took the dakshina and not because

you told her orsomething like that, but because the prasna and nimitta were

right for me toaccept.

Many people of SJC were there when this event happened on the 2nd night of the

Hyderabad conference and they can testify that the donation offered by Swee

Chan was taken by Sarabani in the name of SJC India, and not Sanjay personally.

Sanjay took only the price of an air ticket from Hyderabad to Puri from her. The

rest of the financial etc. questions are still unclear so I wond not form a

definite standpoint on them AS I HAVE NOT DONE SO IN MY PREVIOUS EMAILS AS

WELL. I'm looking at statements from both sides and trying to resolve the

quandary of controversies.

Dear Sarabani,

I have been a silent spectator to all the correspondence going on for last few

days.I would request all members to act sensibly.

I am deeply pained to find so called shishyas trying to defame their Guru.Most

of these are writing about scriptures to explain Jyotish phenomenon. I would

urge them to remember the story of Karna who allowed his thigh muscle to be

bored by an insect so that his Guru's sleep is not disturbed.Remember Ekalavya

who gave thumb of his right hand as Guru-Dakshina to his Guru though he had

refused to teach him.

Writing about scriptures and equating scriptural stories to graha Swabhavas is

senseless unless one is ready to live scriptures.

I think this is why the Ancient sages enjoined upon their Shishyas not to impart

this knowledge to non believers and those who would not use for the benefit of

mankind.

All through this mud slinging Sanjay has truly behaved like the Guru and

refrained from joining issue. My pranaam to him.
