Definition of Bhava

Dear ALL

I am a new member to this group.

I would appreciate if someone clarifies the following for me.

1. Re. BPHS, what is the definition of a Bhava? Does it extend from 0

to 30 degree of each zodiacal sign or does it vary according to the

one's lagna longitude (as in Bhava kundali)

 

2. Is there any ancient vedic literature that explains erection of a

bhava chart. I mean taking the latitude of (birth) place also in to

consideration?.
