Meaning of Karakamsa- to Swee, Shaileshji and others

Dear Shailesh and Swee,

 

 

Thanks for replying, now I know how to calculate Karakamsa, but a few more

queries with your permission.

1. What does Karakamsa signify, what does it mean, what is seen in the chart from that.

2. The word atmakaraka is easy to understand the karaka of the atma (the

signifactor of the soul). In PVRs book it says signifactor of the self, isnt

the self different from the soul or am i confusing things too much. Doesnt the

self has ego whereas the soul has no ego.

3. If for e.g Sun is the Atmakaraka, and in D-9 chart, occupies the sign of Jup,

Sagi, then should we just look at the house of Sagi or where its lord Jup is

placed, does it mean that the soul has to follow the path of Jup/Guru/Vedanta

or should we also see the aspects and conjunctions.

 

I am thinking loud here, so pls do clarify and it would be highly appreciated if

you all would go in depth here.

12th from Atmakaraka is the indicator of Ishta Devata.

here. We have to have an ego to wish another life on this planet to fulfil our

desires.

conference, Sanjayji told us that depending on the pada of the AK, it indicates

the soul’s desire and the path it will take during this life. My AK is in the 4th

pada, and this indicates moksha. The 12th from Karakamsha indicating

the Ishta Devata will help towards that direction.

in Sagittarius indicates a fall from height and conveyances. It would also depend

on which Navamsa lagna and malefics aspecting including Rasi drishti and

Thanks for your reply. I am sorry I do not have the BPHS, but still thanks for

your energy to this young learner.

I have a subsequent query on your reply.

1. U mentioned that ur AK Moon is in the 4th pada and this inducates moksha, can

u pls tell the meanings of AK being in the other 3 padas.

2. The pada indicates the path the soul would take and its desire. So 4th pada

what path would the soul take and hoping that you would tell about the paths

for the other 3 padas.
