Dear Prakash,

Allow me a question in this connection: How would you interpret this combination

of Ketu/Jupiter in the 12th (Gem, in own nakshatra) where Jupiter is retrograde

(as lord of 6th & 9th for a Cancer lagna) and Ketu is debl., while Mercury

(lord of 12th (&3rd)) is in the 8th (a VRY) ?

That is exactly the doubt I had

 

Jupiter lord of 8th and 11th (taurus Ascendant)is in 12th , that is

VRY. Also Ketu is in 12th which indicates Guru Chandala Yoga.Also

Saturn aspects the 12th house. This seems to be a inauspicious

combination.

Dear Jay Weiss,

In my wife's chart,the same combination of Guru-Kethu in 12th from Cancer

Navamsha Lagna is there and I found she has very deep intutional powers and

sometimes she sees some unexpected incidents in her dreams and such dreams

become true withina week or 10 days time and sometimes within a day also.In the

main chart her Lagna is Cancer itself and Guru ® occupies 6th but his Moola

Trikona with Shani ®.She is highly compassionate and if any poor people come

and cries in front of her immidiately she gives either some money or some cloth

or anything which comes in her mind.These observations I made during last 25

years.Of course Kethu in her Natal chart is in Kumbha in 8th from Lagna.

One small incident I will give you here.3-4 years before one day she slept in

the afternoon after the lunch and after getting up from sleep she told me that

she had a very bad dream that her loving Aunt has died as a crow was coming

near to her and tried to touch her.This dream occured at about 2-3 PM but in

the evening when I went to check my mail to post office,I found a letter for

her stating that her loving Aunt has expired.Like this she is getting always

some dreams or the other when something is going to happen.

So I felt the reason for this could be the Guru- Kethu combination in 12th from Navamsha Lagna.

Dear Ramadas Rao,

 

Thanks for the interesting info. I asume that there is a difference in results

between any equivalent combination been in either Rasi or Navamsa.

I currently work on a chart that has (among others ...) the

Jupiter®/Ketu(Debl) comb. in Rasi's 12th. There is naturally more to it as in

Cancer lagna case Jupiter is the lord of the 9th as well as (in this case) the

Sun (L2) and AL.

I trust that Mr. Prakash (or any one else) can help out with his input.

of Guru-Kethu in 12th from Cancer Navamsha Lagna is there and I found she has

For cancer ascendent jupiter in the 12 th with kethu indicates the following;

Jupiter, Kethu in the 12 th will confer riches, learning etc. If Saturn aspects

(except from Aries) Jupiter, the father of the native will be long lived.

Otherwise, this position indicates a defect for father's life. The native will

be free from diseases , inimical troubles, debts, litigations etc (due to 6 th

lord being in 12). The native will vigorously associate himself with spiritual

missions. I would think the same position in the navamsa would indicate such

qualities inherent from birth whereas in the rasi chart shows qualities

developed by the native in this birth.

The association of Kethu with the 9th lord jupiter is indicative of the interest

the native will have in spiritual or occult matters. The native may go abroad

suddenly , he may be introverted in nature and may succeed in getting moksha.

The native may not have any trouble from enemies and may lead a healthy life.

I fully agree with you as to L6 in 12th under "normal circumstances", however,

the issue of Jupiter's status and result of it's retrogration and Ketu's

debilitation remains unanswered, just as the issues surounding L12th

(dispositor of jupiter & Ketu) placement in the 8th (VRY).

Also depends on the sign they are in, preferably in Scorpio where Kethu gets

of Guru-Kethu in 12th from Cancer Navamsha Lagna is there and I found she has

very deep intutional powers and sometimes she sees some unexpected incidents in

her dreams and such dreams become true withina week or 10 days time and

sometimes within a day also.In the main chart her Lagna is Cancer itself and

Guru ® occupies 6th but his Moola Trikona with Shani ®.She is highly

compassionate and if any poor people come and cries in front of her immidiately

she gives either some money or some cloth or anything which comes in her

mind.These observations I made during last 25 years.Of course Kethu in her

Natal chart is in Kumbha in 8th from Lagna. One small incident I will give you

The point was the status of a planet as a dispositor as in this case.

The standard text does not provide a clear answer to this particular case or

similar ones as I see it to be more complicated.

It looks like you want to know the results of Mercury becoming a dispositor of a

Jupiter ® Kethu (Debl) conjunction in the 12 th house and dispositor placed in

the 8 th house causing VRY.

Please let me know when you get to solve such scenarios. It would be a learning

of Guru-Kethu in 12th from Cancer Navamsha Lagna is there and I found she has

very deep intutional powers and sometimes she sees some unexpected incidents in

her dreams and such dreams become true withina week or 10 days time and

sometimes within a day also.In the main chart her Lagna is Cancer itself and

Guru ® occupies 6th but his Moola Trikona with Shani ®.She is highly

compassionate and if any poor people come and cries in front of her immidiately

she gives either some money or some cloth or anything which comes in her

mind.These observations I made during last 25 years.Of course Kethu in her

Natal chart is in Kumbha in 8th from Lagna. One small incident I will give you

here.3-4 years before one day she slept in the afternoon after the lunch and

after getting up from sleep she told me that she had a very bad dream that her

loving Aunt has died as a crow was coming near to her and tried to touch

her.This dream occured at about 2-3 PM but in the evening when I went to check

my mail to post office,I found a letter for her stating that her loving Aunt

has expired.Like this she is getting always some dreams or the other when

something is going to happen. So I felt the reason for this could be the Guru-

Also depends on the sign they are in, preferably in Scorpio where Kethu gets

Saturn is the lord of 3 & 4 th placed in Taurus in rasi.. and also in Navamsa.

The lagna is scorpio and Saturn is placed in the asterism of Rohini.

Dear Prakash,

Now 3rd house indicates ones skills and if its lord is in 7th from Lagna and is

vargothama,then his skills will be exposed in a distant place from place of

birth and being he is alos 4th lord placed in 7th,vargothama,the person stays

in a distant place from his birth place.Noe see analyse from 3rd house,his lord

is in 5th from 3rd indicating the the person's skills and knowledge will be

explored in a distant place.But 4th house is Saturn's Moolatrikona Sthana,so he

gives more results of 4th than 3rd.So 4th lord in 4th from 4th indicates the

person along with his mother also stays away from his birth place.But then

Saturn also gives the results of his sign dispositor also who is Shukra.So see

Shukra's position and then read the results.

You said Saturn is in the nakshatra of Rohini which is ruled by Chandra who is

Thanks for the analysis.

Saturn's dispositor Venus is with Lagna lord Mars in Gemini in the asterism of

Mars - Mrigaseerisha. Lagna lord Mars is also in the same asterism and both

these planets are aspected by Jupiter (Jupiter in the asterism of Venus) from

the 2nd house.

I fully agree with you as to L6 in 12th under "normal circumstances", however,

the issue of Jupiter's status and result of it's retrogration and Ketu's

debilitation remains unanswered, just as the issues surounding L12th

(dispositor of jupiter & Ketu) placement in the 8th (VRY).

Dear Jay Weiss, For cancer ascendent jupiter in the 12 th with kethu indicates

the following; Jupiter, Kethu in the 12 th will confer riches, learning etc. If

Saturn aspects (except from Aries) Jupiter, the father of the native will be

long lived. Otherwise, this position indicates a defect for father's life. The

native will be free from diseases , inimical troubles, debts, litigations etc

(due to 6 th lord being in 12). The native will vigorously associate himself

with spiritual missions. I would think the same position in the navamsa would

indicate such qualities inherent from birth whereas in the rasi chart shows

Thanks for the interesting info. I asume that there is a difference in results

between any equivalent combination been in either Rasi or Navamsa.

I currently work on a chart that has (among others ...) the

Jupiter®/Ketu(Debl) comb. in Rasi's 12th. There is naturally more to it as in

Cancer lagna case Jupiter is the lord of the 9th as well as (in this case) the

Sun (L2) and AL.

I trust that Mr. Prakash (or any one else) can help out with his input.

of Guru-Kethu in 12th from Cancer Navamsha Lagna is there and I found she has

very deep intutional powers and sometimes she sees some unexpected incidents in

her dreams and such dreams become true withina week or 10 days time and

sometimes within a day also.In the main chart her Lagna is Cancer itself and

Guru ® occupies 6th but his Moola Trikona with Shani ®.She is highly

compassionate and if any poor people come and cries in front of her immidiately

she gives either some money or some cloth or anything which comes in her

mind.These observations I made during last 25 years.Of course Kethu in her

Natal chart is in Kumbha in 8th from Lagna. One small incident I will give you

here.3-4 years before one day she slept in the afternoon after the lunch and

after getting up from sleep she told me that she had a very bad dream that her

loving Aunt has died as a crow was coming near to her and tried to touch

her.This dream occured at about 2-3 PM but in the evening when I went to check

my mail to post office,I found a letter for her stating that her loving Aunt

has expired.Like this she is getting always some dreams or the other when

something is going to happen. So I felt the reason for this could be the Guru-

Kethu combination in 12th from Navamsha Lagna. This is for your information.

Jupiter - Kethu in the 12 th house is a indicator of moksha for the individual.

Also depends on the sign they are in, preferably in Scorpio where Kethu gets

exalted and scorpio being a moksha sign or the other moksha signs Pisces and
