Dear members,

Do you think the following planetary positions point

to Unmarried life.

Recently,this guy of around 34 yrs told me that he has

never touched a woman in his life. I wonder if

Vedic Astrology can reveal this truth. Any comments...

Dear Nick,

You have not provided the Navamsha positons of the chart.If seen from Rasi chart

only,then 7th from Libra Lagna is occupied by 4th and 5th lord Saturn in his

debilitation house.4th house indicates domestic happiness and 5th indicates

happiness from progeny which is missing for him as the lords of these houses

Saturn is debilitated.Now see the 7th lord Mars is in 2nd and in his own house

but he is in 6/8 postion from Venus (IN Gemini ) who is a significator for wife

and is also afflicted by the aspect of debilitated Saturn.Now check the

significator for progeny ie., Jupiter who is in 12th with Ketu in a Barren sign

of Virgo and is in 6/8 position from 5th lord debilitated Saturn,then how he

will have married life and progenic happiness ?

Dear Ramadas,

My Namaste to you and all other members.Yes, I should

have given the Navamsa positions for further

clarity.Looks like effects of Mercury Retrograde.

More,this man has shown deep inclination towards

spirituality for the past 2 yrs.

He is currently under Jupiter mahadasha which started

from 02.18.01 and will be under Saturn bhukti from

04.08.03.

Do you think he might get married under Saturn bhukti+

Venus antardasha.

Im not able to give a positive reply to him as he has

shown very deep interest in spiritual studies and

losing interest in wordly, family matters.

With Jupiter,ketu in 12th from Lagna moksha is

possible.

Dear Nick,

Before I give my reply,please find out from him whatever I wrote in my previous

mail is ok or not.Because unless he performs the remedial measures to ward off

the curse of dead soul,it may become difficult for him to find out a life

partner.Also ask him very often he gets unusual dreams which indicate to free

the soul.

Dear Ramadas,

I would like to thank you for your advises.This is

something new for me.

As per my conversation with him, he cannot say for

sure if he had any unusual dreams but now he told me

that he would track his dream experiences. His urge to

learn more on this topic salvation started a few

months back, before he came to me.

Could you elaborate on the possible reasons for this

curse, preta dosha he is anxious to know more about

it. Also, what sort of remedial measures are there to

remove this curse. He is fine with your suggestions.

Dear Nick,

In any chart the Preta Dosha comes from Father's side normally.So now in his

chart if we consider 9th house which is Mithuna (gemini ),then Jupiter is the

lord of 7th and 10th.Here 7th from 9th is Sagittarius which is Jupiter's Moola

Trikona House which is stronger than 10th from 9th ie.,Pisces.Then 7th from 9th

indicates somebody related to his paternal grandfather has died of unnatural

death ie.,either by sucide or hanging or fire accident etc.and no rituals have

benn conducted for this special case of death and the soul remains wandering

waiting for its release.So in the next births of the family when sombody takes

birth who can free this soul will catch him and start giving troubles in all

the matters and when the time comes it appears in dreams to caution him to give

this soul a release.If by proper rituals this soul has been released then within

6 months the person will be feeling menatlly comfortable and prosperity will be

shown there after.

To ward off this Dosha,either the person with his parents have to go to

Rameshwaram and perform Sri Vishnu Shraddha or Tripindeekarana followed by Tila

Homam.I have seen the people having this kind of Dosha after performing the

above remedial measure have prospered in their life.A 34 year lady approached

me saying that she did not got married till that time and she has already

showed her chart many astrologers and according to them they could not find any

defect in the chart.But when I saw the chart I found the above combinatin in her

chart and when I explained to her ,she said that she was getting too much dreams

of a unknown person whom she could not see but she can listen to the voice to

free that person.Then I told her to perform the above ritual in a Shiva temple

,she performed the ritual and within 3 months she called me over the phone and

said her marriage has been fixed and she was too much thankful to me.Now she is

living happily with her husband and children.

This is only a simple case which came to me and I explained to you here.

Dear Ramadas,

Thank you so much for this information.Interpreting

the doshas is a new subject for me.Do you know if

there are any concise books or on web on doshas.Im

sure this needs a separate study as many astrologers

might not notice during chart interpretation.

After I gave your suggestions to the native, he told

me that his grandfather in 40s died due to some

illness just after his father got married.(within 2-3

yrs).The native was born after 9-10 yrs death of his

grandfather.His father died ( 62 yrs) 10 yrs back in

road accident which was unnatural.

All this incidents do seem to relate somehow in some

way, i cannot tell. Probably, i have to learn more on

this subject.

Dear Ramadas,

I must object with the explanation you have given for this specific type of Preta Dosha.

The 7th from the 9th, i.e. 3rd house, doesn't show anything related to Paternal

Grandfather. Infact the Sthira Karaka for Paternal Grandparents, is Jupiter.

As for the 7th from the 9th. In case of Dual signs, the 7th house becomes

Badhak-sthana, and the lord is Badhakesh.

Hence when Jupiter becomes badhakesh, it may indicate troubles from Guru,

(demised) paternal grandparents, or even Shiva.

Now to help others discern. The Badhak Sthanas for:

Movable signs - is the 11th house.

Dual signs - 7th house.

Fixed signs - 9th house.

Badhak means obstruction, and the lord of the Badhak-bhava, is called the "Lord

of Obstruction", or Badhakesh (Badhak+Ishwar).

As you mentioned, Prasna Marga gives these clues. Also Maharshi Parasara does

make a mention of it, when giving results of Chara Dasa's, and if i may add,

Sarvath Chintamani gives mention on this, in the last chapter.
