Guest guest
Dear Sundeep, > I wont ask a personal question because I know I wont get an answer :-) Sometimes you do, sometimes you don't. :-) > So here's a general one: Could anyone additionally either confirm > Siva's analysis of the remaining planets in 4th house of comfort from I replied separately. > AK in D-20, or provide some brief information on each, for the > benefit of all of us. Also, I noticed that in Siva's reply, Sun was > missing (what path does it advocate?), Mars was only listed as adding Sun, like Jupiter, is very saattwik and shows Vedanta etc. With Jupiter, he shows Gnyaana yoga (yoga with god thru knowledge). > aggression (what if it is alone - what path does it advocate by Mars shows the rationistic path. Mercury also shows it, but there is a difference. If you are familar with ShadDarsanas (six basic philosophies of Hinduism), Mars shows Nyaya and Mercury shows Mimamsa. The rationality of Mars is result-oriented. You made a mistake? It's ok! You can rectify it later. If you keep perfecting your logic, it will never lead to an end result. So the rationality of Mars is aimed at drawing quick conclusions and producing "results". The rationality shown by Mercury is very profound. It stresses on accuracy, perfection and completeness, but reaches very few conclusions. Conclusions are not the main goal there. > itself?), Ketu was potentially listed as mystic experiences but not > confirmed (does it mean spirituality through occult or what?), Moon > was listed as potentially Bhakti but not confirmed. Can these doubts > be clarified? Yes, Moon shows surrender and bhakti yoga. He shows karuna (compassion) too. He also shows Sankhya. > Also, in PVRji's post, it appears that when more than one planets are > present in the house, then certain planets overrule others somewhat > counterintuitively to me - why else would a debilitated Mercury > overrule an exalted Venus? Could this be clarified too. There are two energies in this universe - male and female (purusha and prakriti). Purusha symbolizes the ahamkara (sense of self) and prakriti symbolizes the nature. Exaltation is a state of being proud. It represents the male energy of ahamkara. Debilitation represents the female energy of creation. I am not implying that the male energy is superior. This is why exalted planets show male children in D-7 and debilitated planets show female children. In the material plane, male energy (purusha/ahamkara) can dominate over the female energy (prakriti). Thus, exaltated planets are considered to be more powerful than debilitated planets. However, in the spiritual plane, ahamkara of purusha means nothing. It is the sakti of prakriti that dominates. Pt. Sanjay Rath taught me that debilitated planets are a blessing in D-20 and exalted planets are a liability. In the spiritual plane, it is humility and patience that finally win, not pride and easy satisfaction. > Many thanks again, > > Sundeep May Jupiter's light shine on us, Narasimha (PVR)
