Western astrology gives significant importance to angular contact of

transiting planets i.e. transiting planet combinations that are

conjunct or square key angles e.g. ascendant degree, descendant

degree, MC and IC.

 

In this regard, does Vedic astrology also attach similar importance

to transiting planet combinations hitting key angles? For e.g. if a

Full Moon falls EXACTLY on a persons Lagna to the degree, what does

it mean? The "to the degree" part is important, of course.

In Prashna Kundali an orb of influence is considered.In general Horary astrology

nearness to the degrees of Bhava Madhya is given importance when assessing the %

result that a particular aspect would give. In Nadi astrology the aspects on

exact degrees of a house lord for transit results are quoted.
