Guest guest
Dear Gauranga Das, Thank you so much for the info you sent. Although I have the information you sent I certainly appreciate the time you took to copy it out for me. Now to what I am doing with the Upagrahas: I guess the best thing to say is I am playing with them. I know the Upagrahas are supposed to be negative influences. However, if you read pages 201 - 203 in Bepin Behari's Introduction to Esoteric Astrology you will see the argument he puts forward about the so-called negativity of the Upagrahas. Certainly he isn't saying they will bring great material boons into a person's life but he is suggesting that they are bearers of more important gifts: calls to spiritual paths. Based partly on this and partly on my curiosity I have begun including the Upagrahas into each chart and treating them as if the represented a stricter form of the planet they represent. It's been amazing the information that has come forward..........and my clients agree with the findings! I've just started this so only have a couple of examples that have been 'tested' in real life however it certainly is looking interesting. More information is available in K.S. Charak's Elements of Vedic Astrology Vol.1. pp132-136. There is other information that I have and I can not find the referrence nor can I take more time looking for it but I will write out what was said. Obviously I thought I source was OK because I put the information in my journal. Dhooma is exalted in LE, debilitated in AQ owns CP and is good in houses 3, 6, 9, 10 and 11.
