Please clarify is this something to charge the mantras? Also while reciting, in charging process is there some homa or yagya sort is to be done? I heard that specific japa counts be done by offering cardamon etc. in agni each time you recite mantra. After it activates, simply mala japa is to be done. Please guide. Also for kavachas it is done, as well as for installing the yantras, while later on the puja and mantra japa is sufficient. Some other mantras you can accept from Guru without homa and just chant it. But the important point is that no mantras give effects unless received from a Guru in Parampara. Some mantras I gave with Samputikarana ie each line of the Shloka is to be chanted with Om Kleem Krishnaaya Namah.This gives a great strenth to the Mantra and the results will be fast.The word KLEEM is Kama Beeja which means desire seed.But there is also an inner meanig for this word also.KLEEM is formed by KA+LA+EE+ANUSWARA..KA means Krishna,LA means Indra or Vyapaka Roopa,EE means Thushti Bhava an Anuswara means giver of comforts-Sukhadaata.So the meaning of KLEEM is O Kamadeva Swaroopi Sri Krishna,Give me comforts and prosperity.
