Dear Jay and folks,

If we got the time of lift off for the shuttle, we could treat the chart as a

muhurta chart, and see the end result.

Best wishes

Dear all,

Does anyone have the birth data for Kalpana Chawla ?

Also can anyone give me the exact time of the shuttle explosion ? What

co-ordinates should we use in such a case ? What are the combinations for space

accidents ?

Is it possible to predict the end with timing, on the basis of mahurata(her

departure time)? Should the dasa or varga dasa plus gochar on natal charts of

America and NASA not stuied along with other charts, which seems more logical

too.

Because this is the event at mundane level not on individual scale.

Once Sanjay Rath wrote(on this forum) that D-24 of any nation's chart indicates

his scientific and research institutions, and capacity. So I thougth Narayan

Dasa on D-24 of Amercia must seen for rational conclusion of this deadely

event. Moreover the ayur dasa of "Colombia Shuttle" may highlight reasons.

The shuttle exploded about 1000 miles above the surface of the earth above

Palestine, Texas. If you use coordinates for Palestine it will be well out due

to height. If there are any astute astronomers out there they might know what

the difference is. When I have remembered how to calculate it (trigonometry)

I'll write again if noone has given the information).

Also has anyone noticed the birthdate of Kalpana Chawala was the same as

Princess Di, who was born on 1/7/61 7.45 pm in Sandringham, England.

Hare Rama Krishna

Dear M,

The Muhurta chart will show the success or failure of the objective. The charts

you mentioned can also be used.

Last Launch of Space Shuttle Columbia

Natal Chart

January 16, 2003Time: 10:39:00Time Zone: 5:00:00 (West

of GMT)Longitude: 80 W 36' 18"Latitude: 28 N 24' 20"Altitude: 9.00

meters

Mission Objective

Using the chart given, for Cape Carneval, the Lagna rising is Pisces, showing

the objective of this mission to learn the secrets of the universe.

The Moon is in Ardra, a fiery nakshatra ruled by Rudra, hence Mars becomes quite

strong in this chart, and should be analyzed. Mars is Maheswara and Rudra in

this chart, and should be noted carefully.

The 8th house is the Karya Bhava, as the mission had the objective of doing

study and research, and it may be inferred that the experiments went

unobstructed due to the empty 8th house.

The 9th house is the Karya bhava for long distance journeys, and especially

space exploration, and is occupied by 3 graha's, among which Mars (Rudra),

Venus (Astamesh) and Ketu the 9th lord are present. This doesn't bode well for

completing the mission successfully.

The Crew

The crew of the aircraft (Lagna lord), as well as the pilots controlling the

aircraft (10th lord) are seen from Jupiter.

This exalted Jupiter indicates the high capability of the crew, yet the

retrograde indicates that the crew may become too independent (As Jupiter

absorbs all the Suns rays), and this will cause problems on the journey.

Jupiter is in Asreesha Nakshatra which is ruled by Sarpa, which gives the notion

that the crew maybe suffering from poisons, addictive drugs or the likes. This

also shows that the craft carries these substances.

Jupiter is recieving dristi by Rahu which can cause Manushya Hata (death of

human beings), as well as Saturn, showing disease. Rahu is also lord of the

Yoga on the day, and indicates the presence of a crew foreign to each other,

where communication problems may arise. These obstacles are confirmed due to

Saturn's and Rahu's presence in Badhak Sthana from Jupiter.

The fiery combination in Scorpio, which also aspects Jupiter, indicates danger

from fire, especially as Venus is the badhakesh from Jupiter.

As a special note, the day (vara) of the journey was Thursday, hence the health

of the crew is also determined from Jupiter's position. Being that Jupiter is

recieving dristi by Venus, the mrtyunjaya mantra should have been given as a

suitable remedy for the journey.

Jupiter in the 8th from Sag, threatens to kill the pilots (10th) as well as do

damage to its source of origin (mercury - 4th lord).

End of Journey

The end of the journey is seen from the 3rd from Arudha Lagna. Arudha Lagna

occupies Scorpio, and the 3rd from it is Capricorn - receiving a Dustha Marana

Yoga, due to the aspects of the Nodes, showing an unnatural end. Among the

nodes, Ketu is stronger with more graha's, indicating a mistake resulting in

the incident.

Sun in Capricorn, recieving dristi by a strong Mars, indicates an explosion, and

at a very high speed (Venus+Ketu).

Aspect of Saturn and Rahu, indicate leaks of toxins, or poisonous gasses, which

would be the first to hurt the crew (most evil towards Jupiter).

Re: [vedic astrology] Space Shuttle disaster

OM KLEEM KRISHNAAYA NAMAH Dear Visti, I just want to add some more.Dhuma, the

Uoagraha of Kuja occuoies 3rd house which indicates some trouble in engine of

the air craft and as it is Vrishabha Rasi ,it can be face of the engine or

cockpit. The effect of this Upagraha is more severe in giving deadly

results.Indrachapa another Upagraha in 9th indicates troubles through one's own

faults. So here the capton or his associates might have done some mistake

..Upaketu in 10th house indicates fall from height.Mandi in Lagna indicates

troubles in the beginning itself,ie the Muhurta itself is wrong giving a lot of

difficulties and he is in the nakshatra of Uttarabhadrapada ruled by Mrityu

Karaka Shani which indicates the end result will be death only. The Upagraha

Vidyunmakha is at Pisces 8 deg.51 min. which is near to 8 deg.49 min.as per

Nadi literatures. This indicates also some mental troubles with the crew and as

a result they might have made some mistakes while their return. I hope this

also helps further. With best regards, Ramadas Rao. Visti Larsen

Dear all,

Does anyone have the birth data for Kalpana Chawla ?

Also can anyone give me the exact time of the shuttle explosion ? What

co-ordinates should we use in such a case ? What are the combinations for space

Jaya Jagannath,

Dear Jyotisha,

I think the space travels are shown by the 12th house, the karaka being Venus.

The sucess or failure of the event can be shown by the Karana. Here we see that

the karana is Garija, which is lorded by Jupiter. This is a movable karana and

generally good for the muhurtha, however the the lord Jupiter retrograde,

showing, that there will be some kind of reversal of otherwise successful

event. Its worthy to note here is that Jupiter is afflicted by its worst enemy

Rahu Venusian house causing Guruchandala, showing loss of life.

As visti mentioned, the 3rd from AL, shows the end and being placed with Sun and

being aspected by Mars from its own house, shows some kind of explosion. Aspect

of Venus shows that, the crew member went into some kind of coma before the

explosion happened. The aspect of Rahu is a sure case of Dusta marana yoga

causing accidents or bad death. Ketu's aspect shows intense temeperature, akin

to the temparature of Ketu's infra-red rays.

The Muhurtha was not auspicious as the karaka Venus was afflicted by Malefics by

association and aspects (rasi and graha).

Best Wishes

Sarajit

Re: [vedic astrology] Space Shuttle disaster

Comments are most welcome. Chart attached.
