Guest guest Posted February 2, 2003 Report Share Posted February 2, 2003 Dear Visti, I just want to add some more.Dhuma,the Uoagraha of Kuja occuoies 3rd house which indicates some trouble in engine of the air craft and as it is Vrishabha Rasi ,it can be face of the engine or cockpit.The effect of this Upagraha is more severe in giving deadly results.Indrachapa another Upagraha in 9th indicates troubles through one's own faults.So here the capton or his associates might have done some mistake .Upaketu in 10th house indicates fall from height.Mandi in Lagna indicates troubles in the beginning itself,ie the Muhurta itself is wrong giving a lot of difficulties and he is in the nakshatra of Uttarabhadrapada ruled by Mrityu Karaka Shani which indicates the end result will be death only.The Upagraha Vidyunmakha is at Pisces 8 deg.51 min. which is near to 8 deg.49 min.as per Nadi literatures.This indicates also some mental troubles with the crew and as a result they might have made some mistakes while their return. Should the dasa or varga dasa plus gochar on natal charts of America and NASA not stuied along with other charts, which seems more logical too. But, retrograde Jupiter in exaltation is placed in Capricorn navamsa here. Sanjay was also saying the same thing when I recently talked to him about the current strength of Jupiter. In my honest assessment, karana of the muhurta is acceptable. It must be the other weaknesses which led to the disastrous event. The vimshottri dasa on 3rd Feb 2003 was Mercury/Saturn. Mercury is 6th lord debilitated in the 12th with lagna lord mars. Saturn is retrograde in the 6th house and debilitated in navamsa. Saturn aspects mercury and lagna lord mars. A definite "illness" pattern. Saturn also aspects 8th house and 8th lord mars. Saturn is associated with 12th lord jupiter which is also retro. Distant travel on work, illhealth, danger to life etc. Mars is vargottama in the 12th and is with vargottama sun. Travel to distant places perhaps and fame there? Doesn't really get farther than outer space I guess! Moon is closely conjunct Rahu in the 4th - I remember that this is one of the combinations for danger to longevity for children. The possibility of diseases of the immune system? On the 3rd of feb, lagna lord mars was in the 8th with ketu aspected by retro saturn and rahu from taurus. Also aspected by retro jupiter from cancer. BTW I have a chart of a person similar to the first flight chart. Also an aries lagna, he had mercury in the 12th conjunct mars and sun. Saturn was in the 4th aspecting the ascendant. He died during his saturn dasa mercury sub, which fortunately was late in life. For Columbia, Saturn/Mercury would have expired before birth. And as you say there could be more. About the retrogression of the Karana lord, frankly speaking I shall ask you for more explanation of the Navamsa position. As of my understanding, retrograde planet in exaltation shall behave as if it is debililated as Mantreswara said in his immortal classic Phaladeepika.I think there is no disagreement here; I am just reitereting my points here. However, I found more reasons as Jupiter was under Chandala yoga and rendered weak and afflicted due to Graha and Rasi Drsti of Saturn, which causes its functional debilitation. I guess, you said with Capricorn Navamsa with retrograde Jupiter, it will not be renedered as weak, because it will be having functional exaltation due to retrogression, though there is functional debilitation in the rasi. Am I correct!
