Dear shri Narasimha Raoji,

 

Pranam,

 

With reference to your some earlier excellent posts on the

Progressions and its reference in the Manu Smriti, I would like to

ask you some questions. Yes, No doubt about the reference in the

Manu smriti, it is given in the First Adhyaya shloka 68 about the

durations of the days and night and there relevance. Sir, My

question is : 1. Is there any rule to which divisional progressions

we shoul take? 2. Have you tried Saptamsha and Rudramsha

progressions? 3. Is there any rule for progressing the planets?

4. Have you tried progressing the Moon instead of progressing the Sun?

Sir, this is very interesting. Please opine on the above. From

reading your posts I am confident about the origins of the

Progressions in our vedic systems. Also tell me about the other

references about the progressions in our ancient sacred texts.
