Guest guest
Your daughter's (correct?) chart is interesting. Here's a novice's take on it: 1. A vargottama asc indicates Shiva's blessings, which can only be good. 2. A malefic deb and retro in a quad is good news, but the application of this dictum needs to be tempered here since Sa isn't exactly a malefic for Li natives. Sa has lots of purvapunya going for itself because it's exalted in D-9. 3. I think she'll be religious, since 9L is exalted and vargottama. 4. Can't say she won't have problems on the professional front, 'cause 10L is in marana sthana. 5. Her relationship with parents may be a wee strained. 4H is aspected by Ra and Sa and 9H by Ma and Sa. 6. 9H happens to be AL, UL, A7 and A5 too, and the influences of Ma and Sa on it needs a guru's looking into. She might be one heck of a tough nut to crack, imho. 7. Since the asc is in Chitra and in Li in most D-charts, expect her to grow up to be a very attractive lass. 8. Shiva is also her ishtadevata, and Shiva puja on Weds won't do her harm. Sticking to veggie diets on Wed is recommended. Guest guest
Thanks Ramapriya. Yes,she is my daughter. Here are some of my views: Have a look @ Ashtakavarga. Her strongest houses are 4,5,9,10,11. (all have more than 30 points). She is only 3 1/2 .And we can feel that she is going to be a "tough nut to crack". We (in the house) have already started following veggie diet on Saturdays. Guest guest
Dear Friends, I would like to share with you that many of my friends and relatives have Saturn in 7th house but the marriage life has not sufferred - it is like any other marriage. However, marriage life does seem to be a problem with Rahu or Sun in the 7th house especially in the Navamsa. So, the scare of Saturn is not applicable for the 7th house. vedic astrology, "Sen Sarma, Joyjit ((eGM))" <joyjit.sensarma-eds@e...> wrote: > Thanks Ramapriya. > Yes,she is my daughter. > Here are some of my views: > Have a look @ Ashtakavarga. Her strongest houses are 4,5,9,10,11. Guest guest
Dear Sunit, I've heard that Su in 7th makes one kinda dislike females. When one dislikes females in general, he can't but dislike his own spouse too. If this situation is in a fem's chart, she might harbor bitterness for the hubby. And it's generally held that malefics in the 2nd, 4th, 7th, 8th and 12th houses -- ruling family, happiness, spouse, marriage longevity and couch pleasures -- are said to spoil marital happiness one way or the other. That said, I'm personally pretty averse to equating a krura graha, which is what Su is, with a paapa graha, though most in this group hold Su as a malefic. I think most of the ones who've entered this thread have been missing the wood for the trees, viewing Sa in 7th in isolation. I bet there are other factors to be taken cognizance of too. And like I've said earlier, my own marriage wasn't conventional (both me and my wife have Sa in 7th) and I can't say it's been a trouble-free flight after marriage either. But the turbulence has at best spilt some coffee; the craft continues to fly, though Warm regards, Ramapriya hubli - "Aum" <studd2hott <vedic astrology> Thursday, March 06, 2003 2:03 PM [vedic astrology] Re: Sat in 7th House. > > Dear Naresh, > No Offense, but a thousand people would contradict that point > including me that Saturn in the 7th would give a normal marriage !! > What would make things go wrong with Sun in the 7th, will the baby > born be a sun of a gun ? lol > God Loves Us All > Sunit Mehta
Guest guest
Dear Rampriya, Case study I have says not true - my partner actually gets on very well with women in general, much better than with men. He has exalted sun in the 7th. However, he gets a headstrong spouse who will not take his advice, or he will feel that she does not regard him with sufficient seriousness. All too true! Guest guest
Dear Ramapriya, I agree that,in all probability' Saturn becomes the scapegoat when there could be other reasons for failure of a mariage.Saturn is Bali in 7th house. So saturn might not be the reason of breakage of marriage. Chandrashekhar. - Ramapriya D vedic astrology Thursday, March 06, 2003 2:48 PM Re: [vedic astrology] Re: Sat in 7th House. Guest guest
Dear all, I have few related questions: 1.If saturn is in not good in rasi(7th house in Rasi) but is well posited in Navamsa which will prevail? 2.What if Saturn as lord of 7th(Simha lagna), is present in 12th conjoining Mars? Does it spoil the marital life of the native? thanks Ka.Shrinivaasan vedic astrology, Ramadas Rao <ramadasrao> wrote: > > ` ¬I— ³:[ay nm>, > > Dear Nimmi ji, > This is correct.Sun in 7th house of a male nativity gives a life partner who is arrogant and not listening to husband an I can say an independent natured wife a male will get. > With best regards, > Ramadas Rao. > Nimmi Ragavan <106350.3660@c...> wrote:Dear Rampriya, > > Case study I have says not true - my partner actually gets on very well with > women in general, much better than with men. Guest guest
I have one example chart of someone born in 1955. She married someone about 8 years older, who did very well financially. He was also from another community and so there were cultural differences. However this saturn was debilitated in navamsa. The marriage ended in the mid/late 1990s. There were major problems and the ending was acrimonious. The end took place in sun dasa which was 5th lord well placed in 4th in rasi but debilitated in navamsa and opposed by deb sat in navamsa. - "nareshcg" <nareshcg <vedic astrology> Wednesday, March 05, 2003 5:29 AM [vedic astrology] Re: Sat in 7th House. > > The two people I know with Saturn in 7th house have been blessed > with good affluent spouses. > > RGds, > Sapna > vedic astrology, "sarasalai_siva > <sivatheva@a...>" <sivatheva@a...> wrote: > > Jaya Jagannatha ! > > > > > > Namaste Gurus, > > > > 7th house saturn gives money for daily needs. ? > > > > ( here people say money is honey ) > > > > sarasalai_siva > > > > > > > > > .......
