Guest guest
Dear Praveen, An interesting chart. It is always difficult to analyse a chart without any specific problem indicated. However,as you said one must try to do so to hone one's skill. The lady should have had good education but with one break or disappointment in some academic year. She could have had education to relate with chemicals. She would take up differentJobs/professions including either Govt. Job or as head of her organisation , Imparting Knowledge/Consultancy and would also be involved in trading during her lifetime. She should have bhagyodaya in distant land as Lord of 9th and also 11th is posited in 12th. Her financial status should be above average as 3 Planets in swasthana indicate good financial status. Accidents could have happened either during Ketu or Mars Antar in Mercury, probably the former.Marital problems might crop up during Mer Mahadasha-Ketu,Mars and Jupiter, 1st part of Saturn antar dasha. Kindly let me know howfar I am from the truth. Chandrashekhar. - Praveen Kumar vedic astrology Sunday, March 23, 2003 1:50 AM [vedic astrology] Working Out Astrological Puzzles Dear List Members and Respected Gurus, I am an active member of this list, going through all the mails almost daily. I strongly feel that discussing unknown charts is the only touchstone of one's predictive ability. Therefore, I suggest to add this as a regular feature of our beloved list. This will sharpen our predictive competence and will prove beneficial in many ways. It may have following features : 1) Any of us may put forward a puzzle. Post the birth data as accurate as possible. Avoid doubtful birth data. Don't post any birth-data when 3 or more puzzles are already pending. Riddles can be solved on first cum first serve basis. We can take up only one puzzle a week. Discusion can't be complete before that. Later, this can be extended to Prashna too. 2) Ask to comment on specific and prominent aspects of one's life (either positive or negative). Illustrating, one's health, educational achievements, marital life / relationships, financial and professional status, progeny problems, relatives etc. This will ease out the things which is a must for the beginners. . 3) Then we should make some time specific queries. Here we must be concerned with one dasa / antardasa or Vashaphala rather than exact date / month. In case of Varshaphala take precaution that the event falls safely within the scope of one Varshaphala and doesn't overlap with the other. 4) One may comment upon any other noticeable features one comes across. 5) All of us may solve the puzzle in comforts of home and post the answers alongwith technical reasons. There will be no restriction on techniques / tools used. 6) Gurus too may please participate. This will help us learn different approaches. I do appreciate Narasimha who attempts such puzzles with great zeal. 7) Finally, after one weak, the facts will be revealed by the member posting the chart and others will be free to post-mortem it astrologically. To start with I am posting the birth data of one female native (chart attached) : Name : XYZ Date of Birth : April 20, 1972 Time of Birth : 10:37 AM Place of Birth : Mumbai / Bombay (India) ( 72E50 ; 18N58 ; + 5:30 Hrs.) Now you are required to answer the following : General Queries : 1) Comment on her 'educational achievements'. 2) Comment on her 'profession' and ' financial status'. Time Specific Queries : 1) Evaluate Mercury (Vimshottari) dasa for marital life / relationship. 2) She had suffered due to some accident in Mercury dasa. Point out which Antardasa or 'Year of her life'. Note : Those using other dasas can give their interpretations based on respective dasas, but for almost the same time-span. All of you are required to opine on proposed new ( better say refined ) strategy. Guest guest
Namaste Praveen ji, > To start with I am posting the birth data of one female native > (chart attached) : > Name : XYZ > Date of Birth : April 20, 1972 > Time of Birth : 10:37 AM > Place of Birth : Mumbai / Bombay (India) ( 72E50 ; 18N58 ; + 5:30 Hrs.) > > Now you are required to answer the following : > > General Queries : > 1) Comment on her 'educational achievements'. D-24 is the chart of education. Lagna will change from Ta to Ge if the birthtime moves forward by just 5.2 seconds and to Ar if the birthtime moves backward by 5 min 25.2 sec. Even an error of 5.5 min cannot be ruled out, let alone an error of merely 6 seconds. So the data can be wrong and whatever I say based on this D-24 can easily go wrong. I'll leave this. > 2) Comment on her 'profession' and ' financial status'. Dasamsa (D-10) shows profession. D-10 lagna changes from Li to Vi if the birthtime changes backward by 2 min 7.1 sec. That too is too small to assume that the data you gave is accurate. Anyway, let us *assume* the data to be right. Jupiter is the 10th lord of rasi chart. He is in 7th in D-10 and 7th is stronger than 6th. It shows some business. Jupiter is in Poorvashadha constellation and in a dasamsa ruled by Varuna. Both show a profession related to water, liquids, trading across oceans etc. Due to 10th lord Moon occupying 6th in D-10 in a dasamsa ruled by Ananta, there is a chance of some religious service activity too. If D-10 lagna is Vi instead of Li, she may not be into business and could be a software engineer or a computer programmer or a writer or an administrator (10th lord Mercury in 6th and Sun in 10th). Basically, the whole thing changes. Ketu in 11th from AL shows financial gains from foreign sources. The 2nd lord Moon is well-placed in rasi and hora too and he shows good financial status. The lady is well-off. > Time Specific Queries : > 1) Evaluate Mercury (Vimshottari) dasa for marital life / relationship. Overall, debilitated Saturn in 4th and debilitation of 4th lord Mars shows some deficit in sukha (marital bliss). Mercury is the 6th lord in navamsa. The 6th house shows breaks in marriage and quarrels. In rasi, Mercury is the 8th lord from UL and occupies the 2nd from UL in debility. He represents forces working towards the breaking of the marriage. Overall, Mercury dasa is not so great for marital life. Being the 9th lord in navamsa, he makes her follow dharma in marital life, but also places her in a lot of tough situations. > 2) She had suffered due to some accident in Mercury dasa. Point out > which Antardasa or 'Year of her life'. My guess would be Ketu or Mars antardasas. Scorpio is the 6th house in rasi, D-6 and D-16. It could be 1994-95 or 2000-01. > Note : Those using other dasas can give their interpretations based > on respective dasas, but for almost the same time-span. > > All of you are required to opine on proposed new ( better say > refined ) strategy. Yes, your strategy is good. We need puzzles on this list. However, it will also be nice if some events not related to the main puzzle are given, so that somebody interested in rectifying the chart himself/herself can do that before attempting the puzzle. > Praveen Kumar (Mumbai) May Jupiter's light shine on us, Narasimha
Guest guest
Dear Praveen, Here is my attempt on your puzzle: General Queries : 1) Comment on her 'educational achievements'. 2) Comment on her 'profession' and ' financial status'. 1) D-24 lagna is on the border. I can't give any valuable respond. 2) In D-10, Jupiter is with Saturn in 7th house of business. Debilitated Saturn in kendra may be good for finances, but not for status. The10th lord in Rasi Jupiter is functional malefic in D-10. Because of this, 7th house isn't enough strong for business in my sense. The native can have sporadic independent lucrative activities, but in D-10, Ketu is in 2nd house and can indicate routine job. 10th lord Moon is in the 6th house and indicate a job relating to children (nurse for example). Time Specific Queries : 1) Evaluate Mercury (Vimshottari) dasa for marital life / relationship. 2) She had suffered due to some accident in Mercury dasa. Point out which Antardasa or 'Year of her life'. 1) Mercury is in Saturn nakshatra. Mercury is debilitated in Rasi in 2nd from UL. In D-9, Saturn is 8th lord from 7th, debilitated and conjoined UL in Aries. Its lord Mars is debilitated in marana sthana. It can be harmful for the husband's health. 2) There are two marakas in this chart: Jupiter and Moon. Moon is the maraka in D-9, D-11 (in parivartana with 8th lord Saturn) and in D-6 as well. Moon conjoint A8 in D-8. Bukhti of Moon was running 5/1998- 5/2000. Cancer Narayana dasa/antar was running 4/1999-4/2000. I assume her accident in this period.
