Will someone please tell me how to calculate D-150 ?

The Nadi Amsa:

Nadi Amsa i.e. D-150 is not consider for generally and therefore not included in

Parasara's Shodas Varga category of divisional charts. According to B.V.Raman,

Satyacharya hold that in absence of correct Nadi Amsa, the birth chart can not

be decided accurately. This amsa decides the seed of the destiny. But it is

hard to get complete details of effects of 150 Nadi Amsa. (and fortunately if

you have then please tell)

Computation Rules:

Each rashi (30 degree sign) is divided into 150 equal segements, goes under the

name of Nadi Amsa. Therefore the extent of every Nadi Amsa is of 12 minutes.

(30o 00’ 00’’ is divided by 150 equals to 0o 12’ 00’’)

For moveable sings(Ari, Can, Lib, Cap); start counting directly. For fixed signs

(Tau, Leo, Sco, Aqu) start counting backward i.e. from 150. While for

common/dual signs (Gem, Vir, Sag, Pis) start counting directly from 76.(for

dual signs, 105 is divided into 2 segments. first is from 1 to 75 and second is

from 76 to 105)

Examples:

The Lagna of my friend is at 4o 44’ 14’’ Cancer. Now here the sign is moveable.

So count directly. But before it, 4o 44’ 14’’ is divided by 0o 15’ 0’’ equals

to 18.3333333. This means 18 Nadi amsas are elapsed and 19th Nadi Amsa is going

on at given 4o 44’ 14’’ of Cancer, and the name of 19th Amsa is Payasvini.

Let Moon be at 20o 52’ 31’’ Pisces. Since sign is dual/common so we proceed from

76th Nadi Amsa. But first 20o 52’ 31’’ is divided by 0o 15’ 0’’ yields

83.5011111111. This means count (directly) from 76 and look where 84th Nadi

Amsa falls. We see (in loop of 1 to 105) 84th amsa from 76 falls in (8th

positions from 1st) Soumya.

(Here at this instant I can not give names of all 150 amsas, you can get them

from any standard astrological books on computations)
