Dear Ms.Sushmita(Hope this makes you feel better!)

Sorry for responding so late to your wonderful mail.I was away on holiday and

when I returned, the web was kaput. So why does a lady like you dislike being

attached to the madam prefix?I thought it was neutral,non-offensive and

courteous. And you shot that one down!§Q$*+!

No,I am not the Rajinder nath whose article you admired about practical karma on

the street, but don't you think that, being an astrologer, you should consider the

karmic and astrological aspects of the sniper instead of focussing on the fact

that he was a vegetarian and a teetotaller?I mean the fact that he was veg and

tee is too shallow for astrologers to take a peep into his karma and link his

actions to his diet.

Correct me if I am wrong but I am an amateur who is still frolicking at the feet

of the Godess of learning.

May wisdom shine on us all!(and me in particular!)

Warm Regards

Raveendra nath

P.S:You are right.Mr.Narasimha and Mr.Gauranga das haven't come out of hiding

yet!My,you are quite ferocious!Sushmita S <sushmita34 > wrote:

Sushmita, I hope Narasimha took my email nicely since after that both him and

Gauranga have avoided writing on the list from some reason and not even

responded to me.

Thanks for avoiding the word ji, and I thank you once again in understanding where I come from.

Where you the gentleman who wrote on lal kitab and tamasic remedies some months

back, I mean there was one mail from either you or a person called Rajendra

Nath who said so clearly that by reciting mantras one doesn't become a good

human but by his actions and also that even the sniper in America was a veg,

non alcoholic but he still commmitted many murders without any reason.

I really liked that mail, exemplifying that actions are better than just rituals

without pure intention.

Well, I got to go now. Thanks for writing to me, your email cheered me up.

God bless us all.

Warm regards,

Dear Raveendra,

Sorry, I have been out and couldn't reply to your post earlier.

Although this isn't a personal forum to write personal messages i.e

non astrological, what I was trying to say is that the gentleman who

had written that post was trying to make a point that being a veg and

non-smoker or non- drinker need not make one a good or better human

(contrary to the sniper), I guess he was responding to posts on

tamasic and rajasic ways of lifestyle.

As to why I dislike being called a madam, since it sounds a bit

official and since manners and etti... are ever evolving, nowadays

people do prefer being a bit more personal and humane.

That's what my logic and belief is, I need to get back to serious

astrology and need to find Sarbani's & Mr Rao's post on sadesati, I

had one small doubt on the Chamaka Mantra. It's tough finding

previous posts in our list too much of activity.

Warm regards,

Sushmita
