Guest guest
Om Parasmai Jyotishe Namah ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Hare Krsna Laksmi, One more example on Deb. AK Rahu: If you look in the chart of Srila Prabhupada, i.e. in his D-20, you will also find debilitated Rahu, his AK, along with three other debilitated planets. This is quite extraordinary, in light of the principles of deb. D-20 planets given before. Regards, Robert PS My mistake on Sridhara Maharaja's Rahu: (it is not his AK, but Sun instead. All the rest applies, however). ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Robert A. Guest guest
Dear Friends, Here is a poem on Rahu from "The Mystery of Rahu" by Shiv Raj Sharma: RAHURDNAVA MANTRI CHA SIMHIKACHITTANANDAH ARDHAKYAH SADA KRODHI CHANDRADITY VIMARDANAH .. Giver of happiness to his mother Simhika, the minister of demons, half bidied, Rahu is the tormentor of the Sun and the Moon ROUDRO RIDRAPRIYO DAITYAH SWARBHANURBHANUR BHEETDAH GRAHRJAH SUDHAPAYI RAKAATIKSHYAABHILASHUKA Terrible looking, devotte of Lord SHIVA,king among planets, immortal because he has drunk nectar, Rahu frightens the Sun feels happy when he is worshipped at night. KAAL DRISHTI KAALROOPA SHRI KANTHA HRIDAYAASRAYAH, VIDHUNTUDAH SAIMHIKAYO GHOORARUP MAHABALAH His sight is death inflicting; his looks are Death like; he resides in the heart of Lord Neelkantha; has made mon lusterless. The son of simhika is powerful GRAHAPPEDAKARO DRANSHTRI RAKTA NETRO MAHODARAH, PANCHAVIMSATI NAMANNI SMRITAVA RAHUM SADANARAH He who torments planets, has big whiskers, has blood red eyes, big bellied(hard to satisfy) these are twenty five names of Rahu. YEH PATHET MAHATI PEEDA TASAYA NASHAYTI KEVALAM, AROGAYAM PUTRAMTULAM SHRIYAM DHANAYM PASHUMTATHA he who recites these names , overcomes his troubles by amere recitation of these names, gets sons, good health, prosperity, agriculture and cattle wealth. DADATIRAHUTASMAI YAH PATHET STROTRAM UTTAMAM SATATAM PAATHET YASTU JEEVAT VARSHAM SHATAM NARAH (HE WHO RECITES THIS STOTRA CONSTANTLY GETS HIS WISHES FULFILLED AND LIVES UP TO HUNDRED YEARS.) Personal experience during Rahu Mahadasa(1964-1982). My natal Rahu is atamkaraka also and in conjunction with mars in 7th house in Leo (Aquarius Lagna). It was full of mental torture(tons of mental torture due to separation from parents due to focus on education from age 5 to 10) for first five years and the torture type effects continued for 18 years. However I got tremendous education –11 years of school and 5 years in Electrical Engineering. Infact I was so used to torture that whenever I was free from torture, it felt very great and very unnatural…At one stage I thought death is close due to intensive studies and dangerous mind boggling dreams. So I agree with several stanzas of the above mentioned poem. Indeed Rahu is great in the sense, that it gives education, extreme loneliness, death-like sufferings especially in Rahu/Rahu period, great self realization due to torture type state of affairs and made sure that very little amounts of money are left in the pocket… its like moving in wilderness with books and books only… ….So who can dare to criticize Rahu. No wonder the poem mentions: King among planets. May be he is the DEMON KING who is authorized by Lord SHIVA and Lord VISHNU to deliver all punishments immediately regardless of the age of the native. I was only 4 when it started. By the age of 22, I was sound and strong like a metal vessel..everyone appeared offensive and I was defensive on every single word thrown at me…gradually in Jupiter mahadasa, things became normal and it was somewhat a new experience for me.. So JUPITER MD was a great experience otherwise endless RAHU MD would have driven me to unimaginable state of affairs. so Rahu either gives tons of money when linked with strong planets (as indicated by Sanjay Guruji ) or tons of mental and physical torture. Seriously speaking Rahu's effects is like: " Recite your prayers everyday and thank the Gods that you are getting good education and food in my period. I will continue to torture you until you speak the truth(or logical truth) all the time and struggle for survival everyday and than thank me for letting you live for another day….well you did Bad karma in last birth and you deserve all this for that"… ..thanks and regards…Rajesh. vedic astrology, "Robert A.
