Vimshotarri Dasa and Lagna Chart - Sanjayji

Dear Sanjayji,

 

Many thanks for your reply.

 

The dasa with a normal horoscope does not specify the the kind of

Vimshotarri Dasa whether it is Lagna vimsottari or Chandra

vimsottari. Nor do the many astrologers that we have consulted ever

ask or rectify.

 

I think that with the normal horoscope we get the Chandra vimsottari

dasa and the astrologers time the event on the basis of Lagna Chart.

 

Is it correct or wrong?

Dear Sanjayji,

 

I have consulted more than 10 professional astrologers till date,

and all have disapointed me. I have been trying to understand why

none of them have been able to time events correctly.

 

For my daughter's marriage, I have been given varying dates from

1999 to 2007 to no marriage.

 

I think that when the events has to be timed, the following is often

ignored:

 

1. The chart has to be read with the corresponding dasa

2. When the chart shows indications of an event, the same has to be

matched with panchang or planetary aspects during that time of year

3. It should be verified by atleast a chart of another member of the

family. For instance, if my daughter's chart shows marriage, my

chart/ my wife's chart should also reflect this.

 

I am just a beginner and my understanding might be completely wrong

at this stage.
