Guest guest
Dear Hari, I forgot to mention that you read what Sanjay has to say about foreign travels in the 12th bhava chapter in Crux of Vedic Astrology. Any prediction on half data would not be proper. Again his Lagna lord is neither Jupiter nor Rahu so what would be the logic about choosing rahu or Jupiter Mahadasha?. Transit Position of Saturn and Jupiter also do not suggest anything like that currently. Guest guest
---Om Brihaspataye Namah--- Dear Shri Chandrasekhar, I dont have Sanjays book and will buy it on my next trip to India. It is not that my brother desperately wants some foriegn job as he is comfortably placed in India, its all the Almighty's grace! I was just pointing out that for his natal chart having the following characteristics : having lagna lord in 12th, 9&12th lord in 2nd and 4th lord in 9th, the probability for him to go abroad should be very great, isnt it? But it has not happened. I am reproducing below what Sanjay has said in the Achutya Gurukul forum: "1. House of foreign residence is the 12th house; 8th house is the 9th from this house and controls its fortune. 2. Long journeys are seen from the 9th house and the 12th house is the 4th (residence) from this house. 3. Saturn is the karaka for the 12th house and foreign residence 4. Venus is the significator for journeys. 5. Lagna prevents people from going abroad as this is the maraka (2nd house) to the 12th house." See the last point; is it possible that lagna lord in 12th house may act both ways? Regarding logic of choosing Ra or Ju MD, lagna lord MD is over already and I had mentioned about them because Ra is with 9th & 12th lord Ju. Of course, I agree with you in that transits and gochar positions are also important. Finally, thanks for your inputs as well as to Amol and Ajoy for quoting the specific slokas from BPHS. Its been pretty good to learn. :-) regards Hari vedic astrology, "Chandrashekhar" <boxdel> wrote: > Dear Hari, > I forgot to mention that you read what Sanjay has to say about foreign travels in the 12th bhava chapter in Crux of Vedic Astrology.
