ADMIN: Offensive posts

Namaste friends,

 

Unfortunately, freedom of expression comes with a price. Most people don't want

this list to be moderated, where each post has to be approved by the moderator.

When we allow all members to post, someone may abuse the privilege. If you are

offended by a post, simply bring it to my attention

(vedic astrology-moderator) and try to not start a thread on

the list. Starting a discussion on the offending post here gives further

publicity to the miscreant and furthers his/her agenda.

 

The member tarun_ayanamsa , who made an offensive post, has been banned

from this group.

 

Some of us may not agree with the views of Tarun Chopra (or somebody else).

However, we need to respect his views and give him his space. Somebody using

the ID tarun_ayanamsa has been the impostor of the old member Tarun

Chopra (astrotarun). Nobody can take advantage of this despicable act of the

impostor to settle scores with the old Tarun Chopra (astrotarun). It is upto

the old Tarun Chopra (astrotarun) now to complain to and geocities and

get the offending ID and geocities site deleted. It is completely upto

him. As far as this list is concerned, the member with ID tarun_ayanamsa

no longer has any right to post and he stands banned.

 

Rajeev Upadhye was once moderated (not banned) and given a second chance. I've

been noticing the noises being made by him. He has to realize that this list is

for Vedic astrology and he has to stick to Vedic astrology. If he thinks that he

is a messiah (or a superior intellectual being) and keeps lecturing on things

unrelated to Vedic astrology and keeps throwing uncalled for challenges, he

will be permanently banned.
