Hello,

Here is the best ever remedy found in Panch Tantra, one of my

favorite sanskrit books ( I have original Sanskrit text with

Mallinath commentary). The remedy is for those who have adequate

sense of humour...

The verse says -

" Yasya kasya tarormoolam yenakenaapi marditam|

yasya kasya pradatavyam yadva tadva bhavishyati||"

Its meaning accd to me -

"Take roots of some tree, crush them with something aand then give

them to some one, something will definitely happen."

Regards

Dear,

However, one must remember that Placebo do not work always. This is a

necessary but insufficient condition.

Hello Sarajit,

Even medicines do not work always! Remember, "yojakah tatra durlabhah". In fact

you seem to admit that placebos are importatnt "remedies".

Jaya JagannathDear Rajeev,

What I meant was Placebo effect than the placebos by themselves. The placebo

effect means that the person taking remedies feel that they are getting better

after the remedies. However, that by itself is not sufficient. Otherwise all

the books of remedies and all the knowledge of grahas would be futile. We need

both, I meant.
