Guest guest
Namaskaar Chandrashekharji I'm attaching a chart with this mail. I read the long discussions we have on the list on Kendradhipati dosha & start analyzing this chart. It has Gemini lagna. Mer is lagna and 4th lord & it is in 7th with Venus (5th lord). Mercury got Kendradhipati Dosha. Jupiter lord of 7th & 10th is in 9th. Jupiter & Saturn have exchanged places - Jupiter lord of 10th sits in 9th and Saturn lord of 9th sits in 10th. As Jupiter has Kendradhipati dosha - does this yoga still valid? Other issue is that child born on Amavasya. I learned that native born on Amavasya is always poverty stricken. This boy has Moon (2nd lord) & Sun (3rd lord) both in eighth house - capricorn. Moon is 10 degrees behind Sun. What remedial actions should be taken for Amavasya births? I learned that Sun & Moon conjunction may give eye-sight problem. Please tell us what exactly Sun & Moon conjuction in 8th result in for Gemini lagna? Moon in 8th makes Balarishtha yoga also. Should parents propitiate Shiva? Please comment of this chart. with regards Tushankur The New Search - Faster. Easier. Bingo. Guest guest
Dear Tushankur, First thing that I observe about the chart is that it is of a 5 year old boy. If I know my astrology right, charts should not be analysed till native attains 24 years of age per Parasha and 12 years of age per other Acharyas. So unless there is any immediate problem, this chart should not be analysed, much less discused in a public fora. Having said that , to satisfy your quest for knowledge let me state some basic principles which should never be overlooked. Trying to analyse a chart without taking into consideration all the factors does some times create problems. The Chart is in a way Madhayu as Lord of Asc and 8th are in dual signs. However Jupiter aspects the Ascendant. In such cases Balarishta gets destroyed. Sun and Moon in 8th aspecting 2nd is different from Sun Moon posited in 2nd. However Venus and Mercury together in the chart aspecting ascendant might give some eye related problems in conjunction with Sun/Moon aspect of 2nd house. Kendradhipati dosha is to be viewed in respect of results on 9th house in case of Jupiter and 7th house in case of Mercury. Dharmakarmadhipati yoga would still apply however with lesser intensity. About Amavasya birth my views are different. I think taking only one parameter and ascribing curses to it is not very helpful for predictions. Strengths of Planets and Bhavas has to be assessed to arrive at a predictions. Hope this helps. Guest guest
Thanks for enlightening me that we should not analyse charts of younger people except in critical situations. Other members also educated me to analyse charts of great personalities rather than known ones - but sometimes, I find easier to understand things by reading my own chart or near ones. I come across many occasions where office collegues/relatives knowing my interests in Astrology provide me Birth Details and expects some readings too. It hard for me as I'm a beginner - on the other hand, I need more birth charts for my later study. An afterthought - As Mercury is associated with trikonadhipati - Venus (5th lord), I suppose Kendradhipati dosha for Mercury is no more there? Thanks again for reply back my querries respectfully TushankurChandrashekhar <boxdel (AT) (DOT) co.uk> wrote: Dear Tushankur, First thing that I observe about the chart is that it is of a 5 year old boy. Guest guest
Dear Tushankur, I understand that this sometimes happens. If you analyse a chart to help some one it is okay by me. But one should make it a habit to tell people not to get a chart analysed(of young ones) unless there is a specific problem. Parents have a habit of discussing what astrologer told to the children and this might be detrimental to an immature mind, hence the restriction put by the sages. Aboaut Mercury loosing dosha by asociating with trine lord. Please understand that these two are separate matters. The dosha changes the way mercury acts. So effects of trine lord association are some what different. However joining of square and trine lord gives power to mercury to act as a functional yoga karaka. I trust youbear this in mind while taking into account various yogas. Hope this helps, Chandrashekhar. - Tushankur Saroha vedic astrology Tuesday, May 27, 2003 3:50 AM Re: [vedic astrology] Tushankur again...kendradhipati dosha Respected Chandrashekharji Thanks for enlightening me that we should not analyse charts of younger people except in critical situations.
