Rohini nakshatra, lorded by the Moon, Moon exalted yet with the nature of Rahu and an exalted Rahu besides it. I tend to believe eclipses caused by Rahu are inauspicious and those by Ketu may have spiritual effects. However, every eclipse will have particular results for every individual. Though we also have the aspect there of an exalted Jupiter, which may turn the effects beneficial though so many awkward omens might be there. I think the eclipse will be quite a spectacular one, especially for the scientists. Also remarkable is the retroverse tract of the eclipse, as mentioned in this article. The eclipse starts on North America, goes over Europe and then to the Middle East. Will the roles be reversed now? Firstly America attacked Irak, will the Middle East now attack America? Personally this eclipse is also remarkabe for me, as it happens only 1 and half degree from my natal Mars, 5th and 10th lord, and I have Sun in Taurus at 8°53 in Utpata shastyamsa.
