i got japu ji sahib from amritsar as last week i had gone to golden temple. i

thought of sharing some interesting verses with u all.

it speaks of 5 khands or spheres of creation & spiritual evolution.

khands:

1)dharam khand- the region of truth & virtues: the earth , which is called

dharam khand , was created by god for performance of virtues & true deeds by

the devotees , which mean such deeds which are pure & pious , as detailed in

the divine hymn.

karmi karmi hoe vichar, sacha ap sacha darbar

means

they r judged by their deeds & actions. god & his court are true.

2) gian khand- the region of divine knowledge: after the devotee passes the

stage of dharam khand , he enters the stage of understanding the divine

matters . now he performs selfless service . his devotion to, & worship of

creator confers upon him the great gift of divine knowledge , he gets supreme

blissin the second stage.

gian khand mah gian parchand

tithai nad binod kod anand.

3) saram khand-the region of beauty, intuition & true wisdom: when devotee

enters the third stage of spiritualism , his mind , intellect & wisdom are

fashioned afresh & are stepped in the color of god 's worship . the divine

intuition & wisdom are obtained.

saram khand ki bani rup

tithai gharat bahut anup

4)karam khand-the region of divine grace:the sincere devotee becomes detached

from maya & remains absorbed in the meditation of god & his name . then god

showers his grace . the devotee is now ready to enter the final stage.

karam khand ki bani jor

tithai hor na koi hor

language of those , who enter the realm of grace , possess spiritual powewr & effect.

none else reside there except the approved ones.

5)sach khand-the region of truth: in the final stage, the human soul gets united

with teh supreme soul, even during the life time of the devotee.

with regards

prashant
