Guest guest
I recently (perhaps it was a month ago, have been on and off) I saw a post from a learned member/guru that Upapada was actually about "giving". That got me to thinking about the true symbolism of the 12th house and how that symbolism must also reflect in the harmonics of the 12th house: 12th House - "Giving" in general (can translate to losses in the physical plane) D-12 - "Giving" related to lineage? D-24 - "Giving" related to the next plane (i.e. conscious plane) - translates to disseminating knowledge I guess D-36 - Never heard anyone talk about this, but this would be the subconscious plane D-48- Never heard anyone talk about this, but this would be the "spirit" plane (as I read on one of SJC's workshop CDs) D-60 - "Giving" related to the atma's plane Obviously I havent captured the symbolism correctly or well enough to see the commonality. Perhaps if you substitute "giving" for "exchange" then things seem to fit well in some cases - D-24 becomes exchange at the conscious level of the mind - knowledge. D-60 becomes exchange at the level of the Atma - actions you did and karma you got as a result. However 12H is losses, not exchange. Is there a common thread running through these vargas or not? Thank you, Sundeep
Guest guest
Om Namo Narayanaya, Dear Sundeep, 12th house is indeed the "GIVING" But You should add " UP" So we have to give up our body to go to either lower of higher lokas. Giving money is also either buying or donating.. You have to give away or give up the boundaries of your country (LAGNA) to go abroad (12th house ) or in a higher sense, you have to give up boundaries of the mind to attain MOKSHA (12th house). 12th house is called '" Rina" or the past debt. so in D-12 it is a past debt we have to GIVE to our ancestors or parents D-24 - 12th house relates to GIVING or Transcending the knowledge to its Source (MOKSHA) It is for that reason that this chart is also called SIDHAMSHA, or perception of the SIDHAS or perfect beings? What do you think that the perfect Beings perceive? D-60- This is the KARYA BHAVA of the chart (12th house), and thus there is OVERALL RINA or Past debt reflected in the previous life. SO many things to GIVE... smile... Hope this helps Zoran >I recently (perhaps it was a month ago, have been on and off) I saw a >post from a learned member/guru that Upapada was actually >about "giving". Guest guest
Namaste greetings Zoran, Your exposition reads from the rishis, thankyou. Can I ask to take this into a specific case? In my own chart I was applying these principals as I read this mail.( birth data below) when I was reminded as I did this, about an experience I had soon after starting to study Jyotish. I slipped and fell heavily when I ran into a shop during a rainy evening. Falling backwards flat onto concrete flooring, my head crashed hard onto the flat surface. Stunned, as the body lay there and people rushed over to help me, I had the sensation of being out of the body, then i witnessed the splitting off of awareness to the energy,it was a sort of witness to the energy force, a second step from being out of the body. Mars is in the 12th in my D12 and rules the 12th in D24, but in the D60 SA and Venus is in Leo in the 12th. Could this be the giving up of energy (Mars) and the control, producing a learning of moksha, liberation in the D24? Bringing discipline and focus, with compassion with SA VE in D60? I would welcome your comments on this application of principal. Birth data is: 20th september 1956 4:01 am Auckland.New Zealand ( time rectified, to not later than this by Sanjay in Ukaih) Many thanks Rosemary Innes-Jones - Zoran Radosavljevic vedic astrology Friday, June 06, 2003 11:11 AM Re: [vedic astrology] 12H, D-12, D-24, D-60 - Commonality?
