Guest guest
I came across this in a webpage of a Danish astrologer http://www.wandahl.com/Pages/Articles/MeetingWithRaman.htm Can anyone throw more light on the comments marked in blue below and how they can be clearly seen using various dasas (Vimsottari and Moola) ? Regards, Raju Three kinds of Karma According to Dr. B. V. Raman we have only got free will up to a certain degree. This is because everything is interconnected and controlled by a kind of cosmic intelligence. In order to understand this one has to study the law of Karma a little closer. Dr. B. V. Raman explained that there are three different kinds of Karma: 1) Sanchita-Karma (operative karma)2) Prarabdha-Karma (accumulative karma)3) Agami-Karma (karma created in future) Dr. B. V. Raman said that the operative karma, whether good or evil, cannot be avoided, for the simple reason that we were born because of it, and we shall have to experience it. The accumulative karma, on the other hand, can be postponed to future reincarnations, and because of that it is of a more voluntary character. The horoscope in this connection becomes quite a useful tool, a kind of blueprint, just like the way the knowledge of the seed leads to the knowledge of the plant and of the developments that it is likely to have. Guest guest
|Hare Rama Krishna| Dear Raju, i. Sanchita Karma The Sanchita Karma is the entire accumulated karmic debt that we have. Some of this debt is payed for through residence in various Lokas, Talas or Narakas and some is left for the next birth in the form of Prarabdha Karmas. To see the Sanchita Karmas, one must have the previous death chart of the individual. ii. Prarabdha Karma The Prarabdha Karmas are, as explained above, the ammount of karmas that one must live-through in the earthly abode and cannot be suffered/reaped in the various hells/heavens. These can be understood from the Natal Chart and more so in the Conception chart. iii. Agami and Kriyamana Karma Agami Karma is 'anticipated karma' whilst Kriyamana Karma, is the karma we are doing/creating. It so happens that we are sometimes aware of future karma which will come to us and we are hence able to modify the results ensuring that we still repent our sins in someway, yet do not suffer as much. Hence these two types of karmas come somewhat under the same category. To see the Karma the native has performed so far, we look at the Prasna Chart when we meet the native. Guest guest
My understanding of Prarabdha karma is as you describe-unavoidable in this life time, time is ripe, ment to live through. Definition of the same in the text'prarabdha-The accumulative karma, can be postponed to future reincarnations, and because of that it is of a more voluntary character' is contradictory to the first, Would you please comment on this? It was mentioned as BVRaman's opinion? Regards, AnnaVisti Larsen <vishnu (AT) lbq (DOT) dk> wrote: |Hare Rama Krishna| Dear Raju, i. Guest guest
|Hare Rama Krishna| Dear Anna, As i understand it, the karma itself cannot be postponed, but the learning can. Hence the reason you are born with a specific Atmakaraka.. we haven't learnt its lesson yet.
