Dear Visti,

 

I happened on your post that clearly outlines the procedure to

analyze curses and just want to confirm my understanding.

 

In my own chart(Libra Lagna) I have the following curses-

 

 

1) Saturn and Rahu are posited in the 6th house and affect the

following grahas-

 

a) Sun who is the badhaka and 11th lord posited in the 6th.

b) Ketu who is in the 12th house

 

 

2) Among the two i am assuming that Sun is more benefic and shows a

curse from Father in the previous birth.If its Ketu then the curse

could be from a renunciate.

 

3) The areas of life to be affected are the 11th house matters such

as Gains, friends,elder brother and of course the ability to listen

or the will to listen.

 

4)In the case of Ketu the areas of life are 12th house matters such

as meditation,sleep, losses and sexual matters.

 

 

Of the above, we also see that Saturn is my AK and also karaka for

the 6th and as a result 6th house matters(service) could be very

badly affected.Sun being a badhaka only goes to confirm the curse.But

the Lord of the sixth house Jupiter is in a parivarthana with the Sun

and also represents my Ishta.So a good remedy would be to serve my

Ishta and all my badhaks should dissappear.However, in recent days I

have been chanting Hare Rama Krishna and am able to see the effect on

the 6th house.

 

As far as 12th house matters go- since Ketu is also the karaka, the

area of life that could be impacted is my ability to focus on moksha

as a goal.I am at a loss to figure out a remedy for this one other

than take shelter of the Holy Names.

 

I would be grateful if you could comment on the above and let me know

if my thinking process is correct.Thanks.
