| Hare Rama Krishna |Dear Deeptiman,

So you must worship Durga as your Guru and the knowledge will come. What mess

your Gurudevata gets you into is a different discussion.Best wishesVisti---Sri

Dear Visti,

Gurudevatha doesnot get anybody into any type of mess. Rahu conjoining Guru(AK &

badhaka) and BK in Navamsa at the most can mean 'agynana timirah'(cataract of

ignorance) which may be a stumbling block to realisation and revelations. For

the intellect to get illumined Lord Ganesha can be worshipped as Kethu can

cause reversals of Rahu impact. Chaturthi vrata can also help.

Best wishes,

AUM GURUBYO NAMAH

Dear JKji,

Namaste. For answering this question we will have to go a bit more deeper. i

will take up a situation to answer this question.

Ekalavya approached Dronacharya to learn the art of archery. Dronacharya

refused to accept him as his student. Ekalavya was in toto convinced that

Dronacharya was to be his Guru. He invoked Dronacharya within him and performed

Manasic Puja. The indwelling lord blessed him with the art of archery. His

skill was such that he could outbeat anybody in the world. Realising this

situation Dronacharya questioned Ekalavya about the secret of his skill to

which he replied with pride that it was because of his Guru who was none

other than Dronacharya himself. Dronacharya was taken aback with this

statement. Thereafter Ekalavya explained that he used to worship him mentally

before his commencement of his practice everyday and that, it was the only

secret of his skill. Hearing this Dronacharya asked Ekalavya if that was the

case then the pupil/student has been learning the vidya freely without

offering the Guru dakshina. Ekalavya immeadiately fell on the feet of the Guru

and asked the Guru to demand the Guru dakshina. Guru Dronacharya demanded the

thumb of Ekalavya as his Guru dakshina which demand was immediately met,

without any hesitation/drop of tear.

One may think that Guru in this case had really acted as a badhakesh to

Ekalavya. Ekalavya who was otherwise a very small person who was not known to

the world, is even now being remembered for his Guru bakthi. Ekalavya was only

praised by a limited circle initially for his skill in the art of archery, but

the act of Guru in asking the thumb as Gurudakshina and the offering of the

same without any hesitation made him remember not only for his skill in the

Dhanur vidya but also for his Guru bhakthi throughout the world. The Guru who

had initiallly refused him admission initially, had to accept him as his

Sishya. It might be said that Ekalavya was forced to bow down before the Guru.

No it is not so. Infact the Guru had to bow down/bend his principles for the

sake of Guru bakthi. The Guru has proved to the world that the Guru need not

physically be present before the disciple to teach. The vidya springs forth

from within when the individual submits himself truly to the Guru within and

that the physical sufferings and pains inflicted are only tests/sodhana.

If the planet who had become BK is also to be treated as Badhakesh then you may

infer that the individual may have to face more tests and sodhana which will

ultimately be beneficial to the individual.

If the Guru asks for the thumb it only means that he wanted the disciple to be

known by the world at large as an embodiment of Guru bakthi, which is

everlasting than the fame that he might otherwise earn, by way of his skill.

By Arjuna, Dronacharya is remembered as a Siksha Guru, by Ekalavya he is

remembered as a Diksha Guru.

Guru/Guru devatha is always a protector and can never be a badhaka in real/true

sense. Thumb finger is to be treated as the Guru and the index finger to be

treated as AK. This AK should always bow down to the Guru. Therefore it is

advised, to a sadhaka that the index finger should always be placed at the

root of the Thumb as and when he sits for his sadhana. As and when the

flowering takes place within the index finger automatically rises up to the

height/peak of thumb.

Best wishes,

Astrologically yours,
