Uppada when the spouse is gay- for chandrashekharji , vistiand everyone else - pl. respond.

Dear chandrashekhar ji ,

pranaam,

i need to thank you for answering my query with regard to ketu in the uppada.

I have a very dear friend - we were together in college - just to tell you that

we go back a long way.

she got married to a gay person who confessed this on the wedding night itself

and introduced her to his sexual partner of last 18 years- she divorced him

after much mental anguish and trauma.She is very intelligent and works as a

psychiatrist- a line she chose to pursue after her divorce.

When I look at her chart- - for the purposes of second marriage- do we consider

8th from the Ul or theuppada lagna itself since there was no physical intimacy

between the couple.All that I have been able to learn is that one( even when

one considers second marriage) is supposed to fast on the day of the uppada

lord- something that I have have asked her to do.

can she chant om namo narayana? since her uppada lord is jupiter and she is

seeking the blessings of narayana -for bringing her spouse to her.Beyond that

I'm not capable of saying anything- Just got stuck at the uppada bit.I'm not

very knowledgable- just astudent.

Dear Rani,

1. This time you figure out the answer. You need a place to start? Whats the

difference between Rasi and Navamsa? What should be seen in Rasi and what in

Navamsa?

2. Forget kendra's, but do look for similar signs/planets. i.e. if Upapada is in

scorpio then possibility of marrying an Aries Lagna is also possible, as they

are both lorded by Mars.

dear Visti, thanks! I've got two more questions: 1) do these rules also hold for

the navamsa chart of each person? as in, can we compare ULs etc of one person's

navamsa chart to the other person's navamsa chart? or is this only for the

rashi charts of each party? 2) also, one of my original questions was: is the

UL/Lagna trine/conj. rule from the kendra/kona logic? as in the gajakesari yoga

(moon in kendra from jupiter makes the yoga, not just conjunct)? or is it just

those *aspects* -- e.g., the conj. and trine. am I making any sense? thanks

Dear Anu,

About chanting of mantra, chanting the lord's name has never hurt anybody.

About her problem from astrological point of view, there are two ways to go

about this. One is to treat 7th house as the house for indication of

marriage.There are some who think that second marriage should be seen from the

6th house from the 7th house i.e. the 12th house. Both the theories have their

merits.

In case of first , the marital happiness wrt spouse being seen from the 7th

house the reason is apparent.

In second case the second spouse is treated the rival of first spouse.

I think the timing of the marriage should be based on the Planets occupying the

7th, Lord of the 7th, planets aspecting the 7th and planets having relationship

with 7th, like the Karaka, sign dispositor etc; to arrive at the probable Maha

Antar dashas. Gochar movements of Jupiter wrt to 7th house should be looked

into for its beneficial relation to the 7th or 1st house to get the narrower

timeframe within the Maha Antar period.

I suppose the girl's 7th house is connected with saturn/Mercury afflicted, given

her first husband's inclinations.

Find out which amongst Venus and Mars is benefic for her ascendant and ask her

to fast on its weekday+recite its mantra.
