My passion for IT industry is gradually decreasing nowadays since I have inclination to do a doctorate. Infact I want to do some groundbreaking reasearch which will be of use to mankind (like Einstein). I feel that I have the ability to do it. But my father wants me to go into Civil Services(IAS). Though I agree that it is a noble job to be a government servant, my desire is to do higher studies in computer science or physics and achieve something academically. I am in a dilemma as to which way to go. I want to know about my career prospects and which groove is my destiny: Research work (or) Adminstration. Also I want to know astrologically if I have the intellectual ability to achieve something tangible.
