Can any one help me as i could not find sufficient detail in jamini sutras ; 1)-

effects of UL and A11 in the 8th house from janama lagna ? when they are in the

11th house from AL.

2)- significance of AL and A2 in the 10th house from janama lagna ? but AL lord

is in the 12th house with rahu?

3)- significance of A7 & A3 in the 5th house from janama lagna but when they are

also in the 8th from AL?

I will appreciate all the help i can get , most respectfully,

Kantak shani topic searching here and there....and found that shani becomes

kantak if its period or superiod is going on ,it is related to the 10th house

from moon,lagna or AL some how and is in cursed state,and in addition to this

transit saturn is aspecting the 10th house from rashi,lagna or AL....Please

correct me if I am wrong...(shai subperiod in Venus is going on )In my case for

aries lagna+pieces rashi+ saggitarius AL ,transit saturn in gemini (aspecting

AL,4th from rashi)should pose some mental problems...but it is more financial

and career related....Please help....Well its interesting I thought that

problems I am facing is due to Kaal Amrita yoga and 12th house planets but

ended with realising that it was due to the kantaka shani .....Thanks for

do also have thesarpa dosha but broken by venus and saturn...will you please let

me know when I will get rid of it?ie when the dosha will break???What is the

are not considered for predictions. It is the relative magnitude of houses in

comparison that is used for predictions.If the No of pints in both eighth &

twelfth houses are highest, then the native will be inclined towards sanyas.I

on the 4th house of any malefic nature. [sP] The house is saved from further

destruction.8. Sun which is suppose to be a Functional Benefic for The aries

acedent and a first rate yoga kakra is placed in cancer in a friendly sign.

Mercury cannot afflict sun since mercury is netural to sun and its nature is

simliar to sun.

However the only cause of afflication there is rahu. But rahu too is strengthed

by being placed in cancer because cancer is (in some books considered a mool

trinkona sign for rahu) but in any case it is considred friendly placed in

cancer. [sP] As you said there are multiple factors involved. Sun is not a

yogakaraka, although a functional benefic and a friend to the Lagna lord Mars.

However, its affliction with Rahu shall change its nature and such Sun would

not give the results of functional beneficence. Mercury is the lord of 3/6th

and two trisadays. Parasara says the association of the trisadayas with the

yoga karakas break the yogas. So this is not a good combination as long as the

yoga is concerned. However, nevertheless, irrespective of the Lagnas, the

association of Sun and Merc is considered good as the person becomes skillful

and adept (other association and aspect can impact this). You are trying to

make positive things from the negetivities... However, that

doesnot help... what is mitigating the affliction is the subhakartari yoga and

the strength of the lord and the vargottamamsa of Mercury. However this does

show that there shall be sufferings and there shall be relief

thereafter.Finally I had posted the placement of venus in my pervious query

apprently I think u bypassed reading it. Also mars and saturn are cojoined and

ploaced in the 6th house. [sP] Yep, I was only commenting on the planetary

positions in the fourth house. Overall analysis can only be done, only if I

have the horoscope.NEways based on the above factors I would appreciate ur

reponse on the 4th house. As to why would 4th house matters suffer is it just

because of rahu being placed in there. But if that were the case then basically

everyone having rahu in the 4th house would have difficulty in getting and

acquring proprty and such things. [sP] Its not because of Rahu in the 4th, but

the eclipse of Sun in 4th. More to this also check the

strength of Karaka for any matter along with the house. Rahu in the 4th

debilitated does give a strong Rajayoga. So its not only Rahu's placement in

the 4th.Also techincally speaking rahu with any planet would afflict it. Though

my question is more along the lines as to how much afffliction will it cause and

in the abvove case since there are more factors in support of forth house than

against it. I think it would be more logical to assume that 4th house matters

mentioned before and Venus, Jupiter and Moon would help fulfilling the
