On Ekadashi day it is unlikely to have Amavas as only on Amavas day soloar eclipse can happen. VedVyasa have noted that during the MB war amavas did happen on Trayodashi day i.e. Paksha got commpressed to 13 days. Had it been to 11 days VedVyasa would have noted it as well. Many believe that the date according to Julian calendar was 22nd November 6:30 am, 3067B.C. for start of MB war. Thanks a lot for your Time and Space.
