Hello Hitesh

There is no "vs"... (viz. KP vs Parashar). Parashar is the "father",

and once in a while geniuses/great-souls come along and expand upon

Parashar, do research work, or provide "missing links" which we

call "novel systems". Prof. KSK Krishnamurthy is one such soul.

I have practised KP system since 1997, and can read the same things

from KP chart as well traditional Prashara chart - I find no

conflict, all systems complement each other. Reading the chart using

together Parashar, Jaimini, KP and/or any other way helps delineating

the horscope much more accurately, i.e. when you notice "CONFLUENCE"

(all the systems indicating the same result) you can be more sure.

However, with KP (which is in fact quite intricate system based on

traditional "Nadi Jyotish" = NAKSHATRA based) you can make quick snap-

shot predictions. I am not saying it is "better" than any other

system, I was taught it and liked it and use it a lot!

On the "JYOTISH VIDYA" (by Wendy) there is a gentleman

called INDERJIT SAHNI... HE IS A VERY GOOD kp ASTROLOGER, and so you

can read his posts on that board a lot of KP examples.

regards

RAJAN

Dear Hitesh,

In my humble opinion, KP is not in contrast of Parashara school of

jyotisha, therefore thinking "KP vs Prashara" may not be suitable.

(though you may disagree to this). KP is a systematic restructing of

Jyotish rules, specially modernization of Nadi Jyotisha priciples

regarding Nakshatra.

As based on nakshtra lords and sub lords, KP is a sensetive matter

for Jataka horoscopy, if time of birth is not correct upto exact

minutes or seconds. Thus many learned astrologers prefer it in

Parshan. KP yields fasanating results if applied on parshana.

There is very prestigious web group on , that deals and discuss

KP.

Hope you will find better guideline from here.
