Let us consider the horoscope of the wife. The chart is given after the analysis. The chart has the 7th lord and kalatrakaraka Venus afflicted by a curse with Mars and Rahu aspecting it.The native's wife could have felt being cheated(Rahu) and become angry (Mars) which might have led to separation. The Vimshottari dasa of mars started in 1995 october ( i have not corrected birthtime) and the seeds for the anger might have been sown then. The distrust could have surfaced during the rahu antara which started in March 1996. The next 1 year could have been a tumultous period. Add to this the curse on Mercury by Rahu and Saturn. This could have led to strained relations with uncles or children( Mercury is Putrakaraka). This could have made her commit silly(Mercury) mistakes(Ketu). the succesive antaras of saturn and mercury after a brief respite in guru antara between march 1997 and february 1998 ensured that the effect of the curses followed like a bandwagon. Rahu being the atmakaraka as also the cursing planet would make the native suffer intensely during this ordeal.Presently, Rahu dasa is in vogue from september 2002 with rahu antara till 2005 may. propitiation to venus (goddess lakshmi) on tuesdays (venus in scorpio) between 9:00 and 10:30 a.m (Venus yama) may be found useful. Venus also happens to be in the 12th from AK Rahu along with Moon. In problems involving Ak, we have to propitiate the Ishtadevata. . I am not sure whether Venus + Moon in Leo is Gowri or Rukmini & Krishna. Fasting on Thursday (UL in Sagittarius) should also be performed as it is a marriage problem( lord of 2nd from UL, saturn is in 2nd - maraka sthana along with maraka lord mercury.). The one who can really check the onslaught of Rahu is Guru who is aspecting Rahu. Hence, prayer to Shiva on Thursdays along with the fasting might seem appropriate. But, Mr.Maruthi may not have any say over his wife now as she is separated from him. The Bhratri Karak representing Guru devata who guides is Saturn and hence the message can be passed through elders in his spouse's family or through his spouse's subordinates.
