Dear VR,

attached is a table of the 30 muhurtas for the book I am just

finishing up on the subject. The meaning of the deities name and the

nakshatra to which the muhurta corresponds to are also in the table.

Also, BV Ramans book is based on Kalaprakasika, a readily available

classic. As such it has a lot of useful things in it, unfortunately,

there are a lot of typos and occasionally left out tithis or nakshatras,

or accidently incorrect tithis or nakshatras, so you may want to

consider getting Kalaprakasika if you like Raman's book.

[vedic astrology] muhurta names

Muhoorta chintamani of BV Raman lists muhoorta-s thus:

Rudra, Ahi, mitra, pitru, vasu, vara, vishwadeva,

vidhi, sathamikhi, puruhuta, vahini, naktanchara,

varuna, aryama, bhaga

Next 15 are in sequence:

Girisa, ajipada, ahirbudhnya, pusha, aswi, yama, agni, vidhatu,

chanda, aditi, jeeva, vishnu, yumigadyuti, thyasthur, samdram.

My question:

If somebody aware of different sequence of these names, or another

sequence with different names, I humbly request them to respond.

Regards,

VR

Dear Ernst,

Thanks for sharing the information. Your list seems to the the same

permutation(of nakshatra deva-s) as BV Raman listed in his book.

I am expecting different permutation.

VR
