I can't explain complete loss of gight, but can attempt to say something about his 6th sense. 8th house rules such powers. Now, see Ketu in lagna and lord of lagna Mer both are in the nakshatra of 8th lord, Mars. Now, same Ketu and Mer have gone to 8th house in Navamsa. And it was dasa of Ketu (and perhaps antardasa of Mer) when it did happen (at the age of 19 years approx.). I think present Venus and Sun dasas will be good. Moon dasa can give some troubles. Sun is in trines to Ketu and causes Shiva Yoga! This shows that Ganesh has been given a head, and can see all the worlds and everything. But Jupiter is responsible for such divine sight and must also be seen. Jupiter is placed in the 12th house and is lord of the 7th, hence Badhakesh. This is normally the best possible placement for the badhakesh, however the other house will also suffer. Jupiter also lords Sag where Venus is placed in the Mrityupada. Hence Venus is going to suffer some disease.. and which house does Venus suffer? - 2nd house of sight! Now 3 malefic planets are in the quadrants to lagna.. this is Sarpa Yoga and shows excessive passions and desires. These planets all have Rasi Dristi on Venus the 2nd lord, and hence he will loose his sight due to excessive passions or desires, and with that loss, his divine sight begins. The reason is offcourse due to a curse from the past. See Rahu and Shani in Guru' Rasi, whilst they both have Graha dristi on Lagna, as does mangal. This is a curse no doubt, possibly Curse of a Brahmin. At present he is running Shukra Dasa, and the latter part of it is going to cause much insecurity in the home. Shukra is 2nd lord, in the 4th, hence can cause disruptions in the home, and its aspected by the 3 before mentioned malefics. To top it off its dispositor is in the 12th house whilst its Navamsa dispositor isn't any better. But he will be somewhat happy due to the Nakshatra dispositor in Lagna, showing that his ability of foresight, is helping him. So tell him to hold out until Venus Dasa ends. Sun Dasa is sure to make things calm and put him in the right surroundings so that he can live comfortably. Lost eyes without any apparent reason in the age of 17-18 years. Immediately after that his sixth sense developed and can see future of any person who asks him.
