Guest guest
Dear John, Dear Members, I am answering John's private query on the list, in case other members would like information about this technique I mentioned. The Trutin of Hermes is an antique method of birth time rectification used in Western astrology. Vettius Valens (2nd century AD) mentions it. There is a technique akin to it in the beginning of the Indian classic Sanketanidhi which is available on the site of Gauranga Das. You must know the approximate date of conception. Conception occurs within a few hours or days after the parents' intercourse. Ask the mother about the approximate duration of her pregnancy. Make the conception chart as follows. The Moon must be on the same longitude as the Ascendant of birth, or 180° from it. The Ascendant must have the same longitude as the Moon of the birth chart, or 180° from it. First you get only an approximation, then by making small adjustments on both the conception chart and the birth chart, you will obtain the result indicated above. The ascendant moves 1 degree in about 4 minutes. During the same time, the Moon moves about 2 minutes of arc. If the difference of time with the birth certificate you find is too great, or if you don't know the duration of the pregnancy, this method won't work. Some astrologers have given astrological techniques for calculating the duration of the pregnancy, but I do not trust these methods. After you find the supposed time of birth, you have to make verifications using past life events. Hoping it is clear. Warm Regards. Guest guest
Dear Ms Martine, Thanks so much for this technique, my apologies for the delay in replying since I haven't been active on this list for quite some time. I agree the limitation of this technique being one must be aware of the duration of pregnancy which is not possible in every case. Light and Abundance.
