Guest guest
Dear Rageshwari, Saturn is malefic, Jupiter is benefic. Until today, Saturn in Taurus was casting its 3rd-aspect on Exalted Jupiter in Cancer. As Saturn has now moved to Gemini, it can no longer cast its (malefic) 3rd-aspect on Jupiter. Guest guest
Dear Sateesh, I have a question. Should we always consider fixed nature of planets in these matters of transits? Or should the functional benefic / malefic nature be considered? Is saturn's 3rd aspect always malefic like even after saturn becomes functional benefic for a chart? (Like in a natal chart etc.)Thanks in advance. Regards, Tanvir "What can not happen, can never happen.Which is mine, is forever mine." Guest guest
Dear Tanvir, Personally, I do follow Functional quality - HOWEVER, regardless of Saturn being FM or FB it is still IMO a delaying-type planet (of results) - and hence I feel it is good that it no longer casts a 3rd-aspect on Exalted Jupiter. Further, I think Saturn is not Jupiter's particular natural friend. Guest guest
Dear Sarajit, but surely it can only be seen through lordships. My Saturn is Lagna Lord. In my natal chart he aspects my Jupiter. Do you want to say that in my chart Jupiter is a kind of debilitated because of aspect of Saturn Lagna Lord? Guest guest
I thought one should consider the position of transiting planet from natal moon. And what about "Vedha" - obstruction of benefic effect of transiting planet? Guest guest
Dear Srinivasan, I personally consider TRs from Lagna not Moon. As for Vedhas etc, my comment on Sanjay's was generalised, and subject to modifying factors in individual charts, etc. Sateesh. - scorpio we vedic astrology Tuesday, April 08, 2003 5:21 AM Re: [vedic astrology] Re: Achyuta Gurukul] Saturn to Gemini Dear Sateesh, I thought one should consider the position of transiting planet from natal moon. Guest guest
Jaya JagannathDear Ognen, Yes, you can consider such heavenly events from both the Lagna and Janma Rasi. Saturn's aspect on Jupiter is not a good thing to happen. Jupiter definitely gets weakened with Saturn's aspect, both with respect to its natural as well as the functional significations. This shall mostly be seen during the dasa of Saturn and Anatar of Jupiter.
